Lovely comfy cottage.. Ideally placed for visiting Snowdonia. Very small point we arrived in very bad weather, so we did watch the TV. It would have been easier to watch if the TV had been a little lower.

We had a great holiday, the cottage was perfect for us two it had everything that we needed, the pub was only a few minuets walk and was also great, lovely people and the best food.. With drove to every destination in snowdonia that we wanted to see nothing was too far away and found other hidden gems too more local to the cottage. Would love to go back even if we didn’t do any sight seeing, just to sit outside and chill out.

The "cottage" is no more than a studio.. The photographs are very deceptive as it's a tiny space with just enough room for 2 people. It's advertised as pet friendly as it is accessed by an external metal staircase this would not be suitable for older dogs. It's listed as being by a road but doesn't say it's the main A5 into Wales it's very busy and very noisy at all times of the day and night. We asked for close to a pub and it is but you need to publish opening times as it opens at 6 and shuts at 9 in low season. The location is great to get to some beautiful walks. The owner seemed very friendly and there is everything that you need but the property is not good value for money. I couldn't wait to come home. Very disappointed.

The comfortable, well-equipped accommodation.. It was well situated and, despite being situated on the A5, traffic noise was never a problem (please note that my wife and I have good hearing!) It was a pleasant surprise to find a free gift of wine awaiting us on our arrival.

This was a great little cottage.. We have such a good time there and around the area. The only issue was with the internet. It only worked for the first night and I needed to complete so work while I was away so had to go surching for places with free WiFi. That was the only issue. The cottage itself was beautiful and such a lovely place to stay.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the cottage was very clean, and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable break, we would certainly go back, and definitely use Sykes cottages again, because of the booking experience and the quality of the properties..

A fabulous little cottage in an idyllic location.. The cottage itself is small but has everything you need for your break and the bed is so comfy! The outside space is safe if you take your dog. If you want peace and quiet this cottage is for you! There is a local pub which serves superb food a 10 minute walk away, a local shop half an hour away. The town is a 10 minute drive away with lovely shops to wander around and great walks for the more energetic! We would definitely book this cottage again - if I were to have a holiday home, this would be it - just perfect!

Great little place, clean and adequate but in need of some updating.. Hot water runs out quick . My main concern are the steel entrance stairs which can be a little slippery, may be they could be replaced with wooden ones and the landing enlarged to accomadate a couple of chairs to enjoy the stunning view across towards Tryfan. Overall it was a great place in a great location.

This was a very clean and neat property, just big enough for two people and our Black Lab. The building is two storeys high and you enter the living area via outside steps (Not Disable friendly) below the living area is a storeroom with a small pool-table in it, (A bit worn but usable) The flat was very clean and all items were included that one needs for a week's break, the owners had even left us a bottle of White Wine. (An excellent touch, thanks) We were unsure how to connect to the WiFi but had good G4 phone coverage so we were not putout. The pub across the road (2min walk) was very friendly and inviting the beer was good so happy! On the whole this was an excellent retreat, plenty of walks, beautiful countryside very quiet, even though we were on the A5 we hardly heard the traffic. We would defiantly use this cottage/flat again.

The location is great, 5mins walk to the pub and 10 minute drive to Betsy coed. Really cosy accommodation, very clean and tidy. WiFi was better than many hotels we have stayed in. We would definitely go back.
