Nestled among Sancerre's rolling vineyards and scenic countryside, this 19th-century castle is truly a one-of-a-kind stay. Though your host has preserved the château's stunning character features, it's anything but old-fashioned. You can work in the wood-panelled library, sip cocktails by the fire in one of the four drawing rooms, or climb the twisting stairs to one of the sumptuous bedrooms for some much-needed R&R. Outside, you'll have three hectares of gardens to explore, offering everything from a wood-fired hot tub, sauna, and fitness room to a heated swimming pool – not to mention many picturesque trails leading through the woodlands. With a live-in concierge on hand to arrange wine tastings and other extras, an unforgettable holiday awaits.

*Though not all rooms are photographed (including the gym/meeting room), expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*Twenty-three bedrooms are in the castle, with an additional bedroom in an annexe on the grounds. Most bedrooms are located upstairs, though one is on the ground floor – please request if needed.
*If you're travelling in a smaller group, not all rooms will be available. Please speak to your host for more information.
*The swimming pool may only be open during the warmer months.
*The château's concierge lives in a home on the grounds. They'll leave you to your privacy but will be available to assist when needed.
