Natural stone floors. 2 terraces. Terrace furniture, barbecue (portable), deck chairs (6). Marvellous panoramic view of Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan. Facilities: washing machine, iron, mosquito net, children's high chair, baby cot. Internet (WiFi, free). Reserved parking (2 cars) at the house. Please note: non-smokers only. 1 pet/ dog allowed. Very nice and romantique place for calm holiday in the centre of beautiful nature of La Bourgogne at the edge of Regional Park Morvan. Autun with the possibilities of shopping 10 km, Gallo-Roman archeological site Bibracte nearby. House well equipped, we had everything we needed. Friendly and helpful castleowners and housekeeper. The accommodation is ideal for four people. We really liked it there.

Firstly not as advertised,as behind it are 3 buildings, at least 2 of which are gites, less than 100m away. Poorly equipped, with 4 towels for 2 people, no bottle opener, cutting board, postage stamp for a bed,2 single duvets, bed not made up, had obviously not been not been cleaned recently,as cobwebs all up the stairs,insects all over the window ledges.Says dog friendly,but owners dogs running loose,so our dog had to be on lead all the time.

Wonderful view. Quiet and rural location in the immediate vicinity of cow pastures, which means that there are many flies (and other insects) in the house. Free-ranging, peaceful and trusting dogs of the owners - however, leave their piles.

Very quiet location in the midst of rural surroundings, good facilities. Burgundy architectural style with thick walls keeps interiors cool in hot weather. Two terraces with sun in the mornings or afternoons and a wide view of the landscape. Uncomplicated apartment handover. Nice castle owners. Very friendly housekeeper.

Only conditionally recommendable for a holiday with a small child (unsecured stairs, uneven tiled floor, few job opportunities). But ideal for a relaxing holiday without small children! Superb location in rural seclusion with sheep and cows just in front of the house, Autun reachable in 10 min by car, right at the entrance to the Morvan. However, one should not be afraid of contact with insects, which abound here between the cattle pastures.

Enjoyed for the third time for 2 weeks. Everything you need is available but take the basics of groceries with you. Recommended restaurant in La Grande Verrière burned down.

Object scores with fantastic landscape and tranquility. Recommendation to borrow bed linen there, as there are no duvets available on site. Mattresses could do with replacing as these are no longer comfortable. The hiking documents available in the house are great.
