We spent a week in Chiddes in June 2024. The house is very nice and practically furnished, the hosts live opposite and are helpful. We could hardly use the small garden due to the rainy weather, but the view alone was a joy. The heating works, we also needed it because of the cool nights.

Less suitable for people with a disability, (my girlfriend of 72 years. Badly mobile) because for example the bedroom is upstairs and at night via difficult stairs, via living room and kitchen with step up and down toilet is reached. In our case the drainage of the shower was also leaking, which made the tiled bathroom floor wet. Would be fixed after our stay.

The cottage is full of charm, clean, very nicely furnished and warm with a pleasant exterior. The equipment is very well thought out, we didn't miss anything. On top of all this the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We had a very good stay and will return with pleasure.
