On the plus side, location and access. The cottage had what was described, peace, quiet and the lovely sound of singing birds. Fish lake, although the weather was not conducive to good catches. A small washing machine would be useful, for current needs, and a new grill. As for the boat, the oar attachment - a total disaster. They fall out under the pressure of rowing, it was windy and there was a lot of resistance, so swimming with oars falling out of the handles was stressful. Apart from these comments, ok.

You knew it was an old house but... it was older than expected, especially the bathroom! The way to the boat was a complete disaster, you could only manage it with rubber boots. And we were there in the summer! Our direct neighbors were 5 meters from the house! No toaster, no TV, which didn't bother us. The boat was unfortunately not in good condition either. And there is no grill because the one that is advertised is not specifically not a grill!!

The house is a beautiful, typical Swedish wooden house. On cooler days it doesn't get really warm despite the electric heating. It would be nice if there was seasoned firewood available. The freshly bought wood burns very poorly. The fireplace also heats the house. Very practically furnished. The seating is simple, so it lacks a little coziness. The house is very clean, everything is OK and functional. The location helps you to relax completely. Hiking, rowing, swimming

A fantastic place to fish, chill and have time because the everyday is so reduced. Setup easy. Kitchen well equipped but no toaster. Grill electric, simplest. With six people prefer the oven. Large pot is missing. A bed worn out. Small house musty- we preferred to use a tent. The bathroom small but good. No TV. Paddles to the boat require gloves (splinters!), but the small island is a swimmer's paradise! Overall we were very satisfied.

Top location with a picturesque view, the description and the pictures don't lie. The facility is old but clean. With the rowing boat you can quickly reach one of the offshore islands for swimming or a picnic. Insider tip is the small sandy beach near Kärne on Strandvik with a children's slide, playground and barbecue area. It's a 30-minute drive to Karlstad. The house lacked a toaster and portable grill, which needs to be improved.
