October 2020
Had a lovely week at Field View which is nicely decorated throughout, well maintained and well equipped.. Bradwell is a convenient base from which to explore the surrounding area with a decent sized Coop which met all our needs, a couple of pubs and a chippy. I would happily recommend Field View as a place to stay for couples/friends or a small family like ours.

The cottage was spotless and there was everything you could possibly need.. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well because it was so quiet even though it was in the middle of the village. A lovely week.

Wonderful location, great views, really nice and clean cottage, people in the village are very friendly, the caretaker Carol was very quick to respond and helpful.. children loved it. grown-ups loved it. we came at a very wet time so could do with a bigger matt at the entrance and come hooks for the coats near the entrance rather than utilities. also would be nice to have some oil and teabags but a complimentary bottle of soave a pack of chocolate biscuits were v nice indeed.

The cottage was wonderful - really clean, lovely and warm and cosy and the location was amazing.. A very short walk to the local pub which was really friendly and welcoming and great access to all that the peaks has to offer.

The cottage is a wonderful little cosy place to stay if you want to find some peace and enjoy the wonderful scenary, the view from every window is beautiful. Super clean, nicley decorated and every thing is provided including lots of information on local walks, pubs, and a bottle of wine and biscuits is a lovely extra. The cooking pans could do with replacing and the addition of some cooking oil would be great as the kitchen had everything else you could need but we loved our stay and would highly recommend!

We were surprised and impressed with our cottage.. We had a lovely break, really homely! Only caveat would be that access for those with mobility issues could be an issue.

Perfect little cottage with amazing views, has all you could possibly need in the kitchen.. Good quality bedding and extremely comfortable beds. Has Wi-Fi which the children were very happy about. It's the perfect place to stay when exploring nearby Castleton and walking stanage edge. Pun a 2 min walk away coop and chippy 5 mins away. We will be back again in the summer for sure.

This holiday was to spend time with our son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter who live about a block away.. The cottage was very well kept, and all necessary instructions regarding our use of the cottage were most helpful. The gas fireplace made for cozy evenings in this somewhat unsettled weather - but we knew what to expect. Would definitely come back to this cottage again.

August 2018
Had a great week at Field View.. Bradwell is a nice friendly village and a perfect base from which to explore the area. It's also just a few minutes drive to Hope train station. The accommodation was fine, the views excellent, the only minor issue is it could be a bit tricky to find if you arrived after dark and parking can be a little bit awkward.

August 2018
We had the most wonderful time at Field View.. The cottage was spotless and beautiful. The wine and biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch and very much appreciated thank you! It is a very well thought through cottage with everything you could possibly need. The location is excellent for accessing all the Peak District has to offer and the views and walks in Bradwell itself made for great evenings. We would definitely return!

Location was good for exploring the Peak District. Village Co-op very useful as it's open until 10pm seven days a week! Best all round local pub for food was The Anchor near Tideswell (3 miles from cottage). Cottage location is very quiet - just the sound of birds and the occasional vehicle.

Field View was a lovely cottage and a perfect place to stay to visit this part of the Peak District.. The cottage is really well appointed and is very warm and welcoming, with nice views over the valley. We can thoroughly recommend the local Bradwell's ice cream shop!

Field view is a comfortable, cosy little cottage, set in a quiet and scenic location.. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything you could possibly need is provided - and more. The local Co-op and pubs are a few minutes walk away. Brilliant location for spending the days walking in the Peaks, followed by the pub for a well earned drink and then back to the cottage for food, board games and family time - perfect.

A super cosy cottage decorated to a high spec with homely finishing touches - thanks for letting us arrive an hour early it saved us waiting around!

August 2017
A lovely cottage accurately described.. It is up a pretty steep slope - but worth it for the views from every window and the patio. Very comfortable and Bradwell is a great untouristy but pretty village from which to explore the Peak District. We thought it was great value for money and in a beautiful location. We wouldn't recommend this cottage for anyone with mobility problems or small children due to the access, garden drops and stairs but for everyone else you won't regret it. We had a great time.

July 2017
A charming and delightful cottage with superb views.. It was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bottle of wine and vase of fresh flowers were a lovely welcoming touch. Field View is in a great location. Bradwell is a lovely village with a fabulous bakery, and home of the delicious Bradwell Ice Cream as well as a fantastic choice of pubs to eat in. Everything you need is in the local shops. Great walks from the cottage too.

The cottage was absolutely perfect - the view, the comfort and the village. We used the cottage as a base and went walking across the Peaks. The location is ideally central so we could easily access both Edale and Monsdale within a few miles. The owner was very helpful with keys and recommendations for eating. We are already talking about going back!

It was a perfect weekend in a nice house for us. We stay there in January with our daughter, she studies in Sheffield. The house was well heated and very cosy. The fitting of the kitchen was good, everything for cooking was there. Everything in the house was clean. The best thing was the fireplace in the living room!

We stayed here over a weekend in October, greeted with a bottle of Pinot which got me on side straight away! Everything was spotless and seemed new- carpets still squishy! Very comfortable and had everything that you might need; from OS maps of area to a selection of DVDs. Gas fire in living room made it feel very homely. WiFi good throughout cottage. Lovely views from front of house over village with green hills behind- made washing up most enjoyable. Bathroom clean with good size bath and LOVELY hand soap! Village had everything we needed, Coop within walking distance. We tried the two closest pubs which were fine but nothing special, to be honest if (or when!) we stay here again would stay just stay cosied in or perhaps drive further afield. It was a good central location to drive to other places in the Peaks. A lovely cottage and lovely stay, thank you!! Ps - for next time an oven glove was the only thing missing :-)
