The apartment itself is nicely furnished and the location with nearby shops is also great. The apartment was in a bad state of cleanliness when we arrived. The bed linen was dirty and stained. There was a centimeter thick layer of dust on all the ceiling fans. When they were turned on, the dust spread throughout the rooms. Dishes from the previous guests were still dirty in the cupboard. One of the rooms smelled musty. Cameras in the apartment. Terrace was dirty when we arrived.

The accommodation was ok, but could do with a bit of renovation. Malfunction of the swimming pool during our stay (the pump in operation emptied the swimming pool), impossible to use for 2 days, with numerous interventions by technicians. The second "small" refrigerator in the kitchen could not close and therefore unusable. the Interhome agency in Empuriabrava told us that there was nothing they could do, to contact the owner...interest in going through an agency????

So far everything was there. Very well equipped in the kitchen with dishes etc. Cleanliness was OK. The house is located a little away from the town. About 4 km to the beach. Quiet area. Shops just around the corner. Pool OK. A bit of an old-style house built for us. 2nd bathroom very small with toilet and shower. Hardly any space, no sink. But there is a sink in the bedroom. Driveway for cars is far too narrow. You have to park on the street. Solid but not luxurious.

Very good contact with the InterHome agency which is very responsive in case of concerns. The villa was really very nice, clean and maintained, a person in charge of cleaning the swimming pool came once a week, the house was well equipped (perhaps a bigger fridge would have been wise) but the rest was really perfect.
