Charity School House is a cottage that consists of a kitchen with an electric range oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, a utility room with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, a dining room with seating for four, and a sitting room with woodburning stove, Smart TV, and a selection of games. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a Jack-and-Jill twin, serviced by a bathroom with a roll-top bath, hand-held shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove and hot tub, bed linen, and towels are included. Outside, there is an enclosed multi-level garden with a patio, lawn, furniture, picnic bench, hot tub, and roadside parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome (to be kept downstairs). The pretty market town of Shipston-on-Stour boasts many shops, restaurants and pubs, together with a magnificent 17th century church and many riverside walks and cycle routes. Stratford-upon-Avon, with Shakespeare's house, Ann Hathaway's cottage and its famous theatres and monuments, is just 11 miles away. Warwick's medieval castle and the impressive remains of Kenilworth Castle are nearby, as well as the elegant Royal Leamington Spa, with its Georgian and Victorian buildings. Explore the charming towns and villages of the Cotswolds where it is possible to visit places that have remained unchanged for centuries. Moreton in Marsh, Chipping Campden, Stow on the Wold, Broadway and Bourton on the Water, to name but a few, are within easy reach. You can also enjoy two nearby golf courses, horse racing at Stratford, Warwick and Cheltenham (only 40 minutes), the Heritage Motor Museum or walk the Centenary Way.
