The cottage really is superb.. In a beautiful quiet, rural location - but only a few miles back to the A road. Great for exploring Ironbridge, the Wrekin (definitely walk to the top - it's hard-going but well worth it), and all over Shropshire. Took our bikes and the quiet country lanes round about were delightful for exploring. House exceptionally clean and tidy and kitchen was really well equipped - modern cooker, dishwasher, fridge. Lovely welcome pack of eggs, delicious crusty bread and some jam. The courtyard is full of flowers in pots and very charming. Also nice to chat to other people staying in the other cottage if you want to - if not, there is a private area round the side and a large garden at the back. The grounds are very impressive. Host was extremely friendly and gave great advice on where to go. Recommend the Lion at Waters Upton for a curry - we walked but it is a couple of miles each way. No bathtub, which is literally the only non-positive thing I can think to say. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely part of the world, and a great place to stay in style to explore it.
