There is a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dining seating and a sitting room with TV and gas fire. The bedrooms consist of two king-size and a single, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden and furniture and off-road parking for two cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Apologies, no pets and no smoking. There is a highchair and travel cot available on request. Within 0.3 miles there is a shop and within 0.2 miles, a pub. For a wonderful stay besides the sea, choose Fisherman's Row.

Area
Amble, a bustling little seaport at the mouth of the River Coquet, is a great starting point for exploring Northumberland. Amble, once a boatbuilding centre, now has a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches, and coastal hikes to Hauxley Bird Sanctuary and Druridge Bay Country Park. Fish, prawns, crabs, and lobsters are landed by large fishing boats moored along the harbour wall. On the other side of the port, there is a fish centre that sells local fish and is open to the public. It is now mostly a shell fish hatchery to re-stock stocks of lobster and other shell fish.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
