Set within the heart of the Herefordshire countryside with plenty to explore on foot, a haven for enthusiastic walkers with acres of farmland with a well marked farm walk enjoying the scenery, wildlife and mature woodlands. Enjoy the central location which is perfect for exploring the Black Mountains, Elan Valley and Shropshire Hills. There are many nearby villages and market towns including Hay on Wye, famous for its book shops and festivals, and Hereford with its cathedral, Mappa Mundi and Chained Library. You can also explore the numerous local National Trust properties including The Weir Gardens, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, to name a few. A variety of festivals run throughout the year such as The Three Choirs, Ludlow Food Festival and Bromyard Folk Festival. Enjoy the views across the farmland and wooded valleys, you will see the shepherd's hut in the distance overlooking the wildlife pond. The hut has wooden steps with double wooden doors, opening into a spacious living area with two armchairs that front a wood burner and Smart TV/DVD, a breakfast bar with raised stools for dining and a kitchen with electric hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. When the day is done there is a bedroom where you can enjoy a peaceful night s rest in the king size zip and link (which can be made into a 2ft 6" twin on request), and when morning breaks a terrace where you can enjoy a morning coffee. There is a shower room with shower and WC. The shepherd's hut has a terrace to the front with table and chairs and a hot tub, here you can enjoy the views across the pond and watch the world go by. There is also a raised terrace by the bedroom area. There is parking for two cars.
