We really enjoyed staying here right from the beginning.. We were massively delayed in arriving due to horrendous traffic but the owner was so laid back and caring about the whole matter that it made things much easier for us. The cottage was a delight to stay in and we wouldn't hesitate to return. We left yesterday and I'm ready to go back now. Details like Prosecco and milk in the fridge, every mod con you can think of, more than ample towels, bedding, shampoo and other toiletries that we could have used if we'd chosen to, not to mention how clean everything was. Fabulous. The nearest convenience store was 5 mins walk away. Bath was easy to get to and we could have even hopped on the bus if we'd wanted to. Parking was expensive in Bath, like in all cities, and if it had been warmer, we would have caught the bus in. I left something behind (doh!) and the owner phoned me to say that she is posting it on to me. First class in all respects; this suited us very well.

Lovely little cottage in an ideal location for Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas.. the owners had thought of everything and a lovely touch was a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge for us. very comfortable and relaxing. we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will definitely return!

A quaint and cosy cottage which is very comfortable, and within easy reach by bus of Bath and Bristol.. We decided to stay longer than we intended as there is so much of interest to explore in the area. A very enjoyable holiday.

The Coach House is a very clean and cosy cottage.. It had everything we needed for a lovely stay, and is perfect for two people. Its location is very good for getting to Bath and Bristol and there is a very good bus service to both. Bitton has a well stocked shop and a pub , although the pub doesn't serve food. Thankyou to the owner , Mrs. Younie , for your friendly welcome and for the attention to detail which makes The Coach House such a good holiday destination.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely, cozy cottage very much.. Although located close to the main road of Bitton, it is very quiet. The double bed is comfy and the bedroom offers a huge wardrobe. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction cooking area, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. The large living room gives you a homey feeling and the bathroom has a shower over the bath. We're looking forward coming back soon. Thanks again, dear Mary, for looking after us upon arrival!
Mrs Horne, March 2019
January 2019
The location of the cottage was excellent and Mrs Younie was very accommodating.. The challenge for us was the bedroom, being upstairs and so far from the bathroom was an issue. Also the bedroom was very tight and difficult to manouvere around to get downstairs in the middle of the night. I would have appreciated the bed actually being in the lounge. It’s a very quaint cottage and I would consider staying there again, but only if the bedroom was downstairs.

December 2018
A very comfortable place to stay and an ideal location to be based for exploring both Bath and Bristol.. Plenty of good walks without having to take the Car - and very close to the Bristol/Bath Cycle path with the many routes leading off of it. The Cottage was very well equipped and situated in a very quiet environment.

September 2018
We loved staying at this cottage.. It was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for a really enjoyable holiday. Some reviews have said they found the mattress hard ... We were the opposite and found it very comfortable , we slept very well ... I guess the comfort of a mattress is personal taste. The cottage is located in between Bath & Bristol. There is a bus stop a 2 minute walk from the cottage. The White Hart pub is just round the corner , this tho doesn't serve food. We chose to eat at The Swan at Swineford , a 15 minute walk away , and the food there is amazing. Mary , the owner , is lovely. Is very helpful , but also allows you to enjoy your holiday. We would definitely stay again at The Coach House.
Mr Leather, September 2018

We were very happy with the cottage.. The owner Mary , was extremely helpful. She gave us good advise about bus routes to Bath, and other areas . When we were having lunch on the patio she came over with fresh raspberries from her garden. We had a wonderful time at The Coach House and highly recommend it.

Perfectly located between Bristol and Bath, with easy access to public transport networks.. It was great for walking and visiting both the cities of Bath and Bristol. The cottage was well appointed and cozy which was especially appreciated due to the Snow in mid march!

February 2018
We had an enjoyable week at The Coach House it's in a nice area, went by bus to Bath and Bristol.. It's near the cycle path and steam railway and there are lovely walks from the property. The Coach House is a lot bigger than in the pictures very comfortable and warm and everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.
Mrs Schooley, February 2018
December 2017
The Cottage was warm, clean & comfortable and exceeded all expectations.. It was well equipped if you wanted to self cater. I was very appreciative of arriving to find milk, tea and coffee and loved the Prosecco chilling in the fridge. I would highly recommend this cottage.
Mrs Jowett, December 2017
October 2017
The Coach House was absolutely lovely and, though compact, met our needs perfectly during our long stay of a month.. The location was excellent and the owner extremely accommodating and friendly. Our stay overall was excellent, very cosy and really like having a home from home which, after all, was exactly what we wanted.
Mrs Briers, August 2017
August 2017
Lovely cottage in a great central location for visiting Bath, Bristol and other local places of interest.. close to the Avon Steam Railway and would recommend a visit there or a walk/ cycle along the paths towards Bath or Bristol. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and was very spacious for 2 people. Everything is to a very high standard and you receive a warm welcome. I highly recommend this property.

I found the experience with Sykes an easier process that other sites I have used in the past and also better value for money.. I will only be using Sykes from now on.
Mr Noelanders, October 2017
August 2017
I enjoyed my stay at the Coach House and found the location excellent for touring the area.. The seated area outside the cottage looked onto to parked cars which was a disappointment. The accommodation was good and spacious.
Mrs Ferguson, August 2017
July 2017
Comfortable well equipment holiday let in a great location for exploring Bristol/Bath area.. The main downside for us was that The Coach House is on the driveway of the owners house which is only about 10 feet away so it isn't very private. This isn't mentioned in the description and doesn't show on the pictures and I think it should be. If I had known this when looking at the accommodation i would've looked for property that had more privacy. Also, as in previous reviews the mattress is so hard it is impossible to get a comfortable nights sleep.
Mrs Whittaker, July 2017
May 2017
All of it. A warm welcome, beautiful cottage, better than the photo's on the site.. The bedroom was a little bit to small for the bed, that was a problem by going in or out the bed. In the kitchen i was missing some spoons to do the food on the plates. We will recommended with our friends.
Mr Mulford, March 2017
March 2017
The only down side was the mattress being too hard..
Mrs Paardekooper, May 2017
March 2017
The location of the property, equally between Bath and Bristol, made it perfect for a two centre holiday..
Mr Colbourne, March 2017
January 2017
Perfect for our needs, using the local bus to see both Bath and Bristol worked very well.. Thrilled to see the SS Gt Britain iron ship in Bristol Docks as well as the very interesting museum M Shed nearby. One icy, sunny morning we walked the 7 miles into Bath along the very convenient cycle trail which was lovely. A lovely winter break.
Mrs Howles, January 2017
November 2016
The accommodation was just as advertised-but more than! It really was comfortable, warm and homely. We felt completely at home. Such a relaxing holiday, and Mary is a very nice host. Everything is clean and well furnished. The bed is comfortable and the bedding and towels good quality and spotless. For a one bed it is very spacious. The weather was particularly bad- windy, cold and rainy, but we were extremely cosy. We definitely recommend this as an excellent base for exploring Bath, Bristol and surrounding areas.

Lovely cottage, only two minor things, I would have liked a dressing table with mirror as the light was very good for makeup etc second parking was a bit of a squeeze.. The owner Mary very helpful We had a lovely stay and used the local bus to see Bath and Bristol as the bus stop very near. x

Really nice, comfortable cottage.. Ideal for a week working in east Bristol. Lovely countryside for walking nearby, down along the River Avon. Owner very welcoming and helpful! thanks! Will definitely return next time I am working down near Bristol.

This was the perfect getaway for a relaxing break.. The property is well equipped and very comfortable and the owner is a lovely lady who is keen to ensure that her guests are happy. There was an issue with a blocked drain when we arrived and it was sorted out immediately. It is set in a quiet village within easy reach of many places to visit. We walked to both Bath and Bristol along the cycle/pedestrian path and also visited Weston Super Mare and Chepstow. The weather was gorgeous which was an added bonus. Whilst we like to cater for ourselves, we did have two meals out. One at the Swan in the next village (only 10 minutes walk) and the other at the Brassmills. Both are highly recommended. With a Tesco superstore in nearby Keynsham and a local shop, we had everything we needed. We were very sad to leave!
