After 30 years of renting cottages throughout the UK I can confidently say Dutch Cottage is the worst ever.
It is advertised as a cottage for four, but only if you don't want to use the (tiny) living room together. It only has/fits seating for three.
Dutch Cottage has damp issues (plaster falling down) and mould. Chair and sofa in the livingroom are sagged. Mattresses are sagged and indented. Bedding is stained and damaged. Chest of drawers in the bedroom is broken. Pans are old, warped, dirty and beyond the point of any use. Floor so worn out to the point it couldn't be properly cleaned. Mould in the fridge door rubbers, cobwebs throughout. Gardenfence broken.
Tried to contact the owner. She didn't pick up her phone, didn't call back when we asked to do so on her voicemail, didn't reply any e-mail.
Left the cottage after a few days with pain in the back and hips due to te bad mattresses and spent de rest of our vacation in a hotel nearby.
Shouldn't be advertised as an holiday cottage. Can immagine even the local squatters would think Durch Cottage substandard.
Lovely location though.
