Nestled in the picturesque village of Normans Bay, this 18th-century cottage is a short stroll from the beach and close to the bustling town of Bexhill-on-Sea. We love the seamless blend of traditional and modern here, and you’ll find everything needed for a relaxing seaside stay. From the cosiness of the cottage, you’ll get a glimpse of the beach huts across the village green – a stroll along the shingle beach is the best way to start or end your day. And for non-sea days, this home is set on the border of the Pevensey Levels – perfect for those who enjoy cycling, walking and bird watching.
Home truths: *The doorways are low here and there are steep, open-sided narrow stairs – including steps down into the kitchen and up into the twin bedroom, where care must be taken. It may not be the best option for taller guests, those with reduced mobility, or children under the age of five.
*We recommend a car to get the most out of your stay. Off-road parking is available for two cars here.
