There are numerous opportunities for outdoor activities, from off road cycling and birdwatching to horse riding, fishing and stargazing. Explore High Force Waterfall (9.3 miles), Summerhill Force and Gibson's Cave (12 miles), Burnhope Reservoir (1 mile), Killhope Lead Mining Museum (3.5 miles), or Hamsterley Forest (20.9 miles) for walks and cycling trails. The large dining table has seating for eight, so you can sit down together for family meals. Wander through to the spacious, well equipped kitchen/diner where the family cook can conjure up some tasty meals with a double electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. There is plenty of worktop space for food preparation and another dining table perfect for early risers breakfasts or for sociable drinks while dinner is cooking. Off the kitchen, there is a utility room with a washing machine, a tall fridge, and an additional small freezer.
