Holiday home
Superbly situated in the popular seaside resort of Westward Ho!, this fantastic, modern apartment is just three miles from the vibrant town of Bideford. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard, this property offers spacious, open plan living with outstanding views over Saunton Sands from the bedrooms, kitchen and stylish sitting room. The apartment is within easy reach of many excellent, Blue Flag awarded beaches and numerous watersports facilities. Walkers are also well catered for throughout this beautiful region, with plenty of trails and footpaths running close by.

All fourth floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin and WC and Juliet balcony, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and balcony.

Area
The town of Westward Ho! was made famous in Charles Kingsley's novel of the same name whilst its two miles of beaches retain the prestigious Blue Flag award for cleanliness. The town's impressive golden strand is backed by a unique pebble ridge, which attracts visitors from all over the country. The coastline also offers fantastic bathing and water sports activities. The South West Coastal path and Tarka Trails are situated within easy reach and provide magnificent walks, whilst the Big Sheep Adventure Park and the bustling market town of Bideford are well worth visiting. Bideford itself boasts the renowned Atlantic Shopping Centre, a charming quayside and an impressive medieval bridge. The secluded fishing village of Clovelly also within easy driving distance and offers a maze of cobbled streets, littered with numerous art shops, tea-rooms and craft centres.

Spotlessly clean,safe holiday home in these strange times.. Easy parking. Comfy beds. Free Wi-fi for the days you don’t want to just sit admiring the view from the balcony. Easy walk to the beach and a lovely pub. No noise from adjoining properties. The only tongue in cheek complaint is that the days spent at 37 Ocean Park speed by more quickly than the days waiting to go on holiday. Our second visit and hopefully not our last. X

Everything about this apartment is tailored to make sure that you have an enjoyable holiday, which we did.. It has a very homely feel and is well maintained by Jill. Lovely views, especially of the sunsets over Lundy and a very good internet connection. We will definitely be returning and would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

From booking to leaving this has been the best holiday we’ve had.. The information provided by the owners was spot on. The directions and details of access were easy to follow. The flat itself was heaven. We arrived during hurricane Hannah and the views from the patio windows were priceless. We self cater so we can eat at “home” and the facilities and equipment were excellent with a sea view from the sink. The beds are so comfy. The bathrooms and fluffy towels perfect. This holiday was perfect. We would wholly recommend this flat to anyone. X

Stayed at 37 Ocean Park on numerous occasions and have already booked our next 2 holidays there.. Apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay from soap to kitchen roll to hair dryer and a fully equipped kitchen, it’s like a home from home and is spotlessly clean. There’s a welcome tray on arrival and milk in the fridge, thank you Jill. Owners are very quick to communicate prior to our stay, even installing a brand new dishwasher the day before our holiday, which was very much appreciated. Trolley to transport the luggage is an added bonus. Apartment has stunning unspoilt sea views and is an ideal base for exploring North Devon, can’t wait to return to our favourite holiday destination.

A very clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable apartment with excellent sea views from the lounge & kitchen.. Ideally situated - near to the shops, beach, local eateries - but enough back so as not to be disturbed by any late night noise. The owners provide clear and concise instructions on all manner of things related to the apartment, which makes for a relaxing stay. As regular self caterers, we cannot stress enough what a difference basic instructions on how to operate certain items, to which key opens what, can make to a holiday.The bookcases in the lounge are like miniature libraries with handy walking maps/guides on local walks and places of interest. Would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay.

Lovely spacious apartment with superb views out to sea.. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Hair dryers in both bedrooms, a real bonus. Lots of parking spaces available in the carpark every day, even in the middle of August. It is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Saying that, we ate out every evening and were impressed with the quality of eateries within very easy walking distance. Plenty of places to visit within a reasonable drive.

The apartment was well located with an exceptional view of the beach and sea.. The parking was easy and if required offered 2 spaces. It is close to shops and resteraunts. There are lots of lovely places to visit within an hour of driving. Westward Ho! Is a lovely place to visit and is suitable for all ages. I certainly recommend the apartment and Westward Ho! For a good relaxing holiday.

The apartment was a real home from home.. Everything you need is there, everything you could want is there. The apartment is extremely elegant and I asked the seaside theme The only let down was the internet was not working for the whole period we were there. The seating is low for disabled users to use as is the toilet in the En-suite. The walk in shower was super. Extra things included such as books, dvds and games. Super value for money. Would love to book again

Excellent property was very easy to book with friendly staff via the telephone, have visited there several times over the last few years more like a home than a holiday let very well equipped with everything you need and spotless WiFi a big bonus.. Very comfortable and quiet with stunning sea views and close to the sea and local shops an ideal base for exploring North Devon. Trolley to transport luggage via the lift extremely useful, was contacted by the owner several times prior to our holiday to ensure we had a good holiday even down to texting to inform us of the fire alarm testing. Will definitely be returning in the future it's our favourite holiday destination, must be as we've been so many times.

This property is best described as five star.. The owners make contact and ensure all your questions are answered prior to departure. The apartment was immaculate, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, a well equipped kitchen, with a comprehensive shelf of information, maps booklets, local attractions, history and geology. Its in a prime position with great views and easy access to the town. It is secure and the whole building is well maintained. Westward Ho! is one of the friendliest towns we have ever visited and the local walks are so interesting. There are many excellent restaurants as well. Please congratulate the owners and we look forward to making a return trip soon, as do many of those who have been there before, looking a visitor book!

We had a really lovely break here.. The apartment was very comfortable, and spotlessly clean, We spent lots of time just looking at the wonderful view of the sea and countryside from the balcony windows. On arrival, the tea-tray and milk in the fridge were very welcome and added a more personal touch. We would certainly recommend this apartment to our family and friends, and we will look forward to returning ourselves in the not too distant future.

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights for our 3rd year anniversary. We were told about the apartment from family who had previously been on vacation here before, and it was everything and more that we expected it to be. We were really impressed by the service that we were given, friendly, welcoming and reallyhelpful. The apartment was immaculate and has everything you need to make you feel at home. Being on the top floor the views were sensational overlooking the ocean and the beach and in the evenings you have a great view of the sunset where we had plenty of glasses of wine out on the balcony. An added bonus was that the block has a lift which also has a trolley which you can use from your car if you have loads of luggage which was really handy we we arrived. The area itself was perfect for a romantic getaway, plenty of fantastic coastal walks which if you have the minerals can carry on for miles, great places to go and eat, we would highly recommend going to the Pier House for an evening meal, the service, food, prices and views were spot on! All in all a really relaxing, healthy and satisfying stay, a big thank you to the owners Denise and Tim!

As a family we know Westward Ho well in my case from my teens. So to find this flat in this location at a reasonable price in august was brilliant. Quality is the word that describes the flat its contents the layout the facilities with a view over the Bristol channel towards Lundy Island a dream.You could not be disappointed with the combination of the flat itself its comfortable layout beds and settees and chairs and the fabulous views from Woolacombe Bay to Hartland point what a vista-just amazing. Being able to watch surfers, swimmers and even golfers from the windows and veranda was both relaxing and exciting. Cleanliness ruled ok also internally a truly outstanding flat and holiday.
