Outside, there is a front patio with furniture and outdoor kitchen area with gas barbecue and pizza oven. Side garden with lawn and patio and off-road parking available. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking at this property. Guests can find a shop in 1.2 miles and a pub in 0.1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Moreleigh is a picturesque countryside hamlet between Totnes, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge in South Hams Devon. This friendly farming hamlet is a great base for enjoying nature and exploring both the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Dartmoor National Park. Take a scenic stroll through the surrounding countryside, heading for the nearby Avon Valley woods where you can wild swim or paddle in the river - look out for Kingfishers, Dippers and otters. Dining options include the New Inn, an unspoilt village pub serving famous steaks and a traditional British menu. You can stock up on essentials at the nearby Spar convenience store or purchase farm fresh eggs, free-range chicken and duck at Stanborough farm. Moreleigh is within easy reach of the towns of Totnes, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe where you can find more attractions and amenities. Why not leave the car and take the bus, a regular service runs from Halwell 7 days a week. With the Dartmoor National Park on its doorstep, you can hike up Western Beacon, wild swim in the upper river Dart or visit the animals at Dartmoor Zoo. Nearby beaches include Blackpool Sands, Slapton, Salcombe, South Milton Sands, Bantham and Bigbury-on-Sea. Or take a steam train from Dartmouth to Paignton past Agatha Christies, Greenways.
