The owners also offer access to a washing machine and tumble dryer upon request in their nearby house.

To the right of the entrance, there's a dining area featuring a table and four chairs, perfect for comfortable meals. In front of the dining area lies a spacious lounge with two comfortable sofas, a wall-mounted smart TV, and a wood-burning stove, creating an inviting atmosphere for cosy evenings.

The ground floor bedroom, fully accessible, is situated beyond the living area and features a king-size bed with ample space around it for wheelchair access, bedside cabinets, a lamp, and a wardrobe with drawers for storage. The ensuite bathroom is accessible through an extra-wide wooden door and is equipped with a large walk-in shower designed for wheelchair access, a folding shower seat, low shower controls, a raised toilet with a handrail, a heated towel rail, and a high sink with wheelchair-accessible space underneath, complemented by a low mirror and accessible storage. The ground floor boasts wooden or linoleum floors and under-floor heating.

Access to the first floor is via a beautifully crafted wooden staircase leading to a mezzanine floor landing. Orchard View is situated on the outskirts of Goodleigh, a charming village in the North Devon countryside. This area offers wonderful footpaths and is home to The New Inn, a fantastic pub serving evening meals. A short drive away lies Barnstaple, North Devon's largest town, featuring a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, and attractions such as a leisure and tennis center, a trampoline park, and a roller skate park.

Within a half-hour drive from the cottages, you'll find stunning golden beaches like Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton, and Westward Ho!. These family-friendly, award-winning beaches have lifeguard patrols from Easter to the end of October and offer various water sports activities and accessible options for wheelchair users.

North Devon is renowned for its extensive network of footpaths and bridleways. Iconic routes include the South West Coast Path, which takes you to beauty spots like Heddon's Mouth and Lynmouth, and the Tarka Trail, a scenic tarmacked pathway running from Braunton to Meeth on the edge of Dartmoor.
