The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite shower room, a double and a single, serviced by a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Off-road parking for 1 car plus additional free on street parking available in the village. Within 0.1 miles or less you will find a shop and a pub and please note this is a smoke-free and pet-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Between the magnificent northern lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite, lies the village of Braithwaite. Still retaining much of its traditional appeal, the Coledale Beck runs through the village with whitewashed Lakeland cottages, two village shops and two real ale Inns each brimming with character! Between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw, there really is something for everyone. Visit Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the lake with an open-air theatre, or take a trip around the lake. Lake District Wildlife Park, Dodd Wood, Derwentwater, and Keswick with its wide range of attractions, are also within easy reach.
