Crab Cottage is a lovely detached cottage set in the heart of Bembridge, Isle of Wight. It has three bedrooms: one master double with en-suite shower room and WC, one double and one twin. There is a separate family bathroom and WC. There is a ground floor cloakroom and WC. Downstairs has an open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen and dining area, as well as a utility room. Outside has an enclosed patio area with furniture and a hot tub. Off-road parking is available for two cars. Crab Cottage is an excellent cottage for those family breaks.

Area
Bembridge is a village and civil parish in Isle of Wight, England. It used to be an island in its own right, until the Victorian era. Bembridge is considered to be one of the most upmarket areas on the island and offers a surprisingly busy intertidal sheltered harbour, which is always full of pleasure crafts and fishing boats providing a constant flow of traffic to and from The Solent. As you walk along Bembridge beach, you will discover cafés and the famous Crab & Lobster Inn, as well as the magnificent Culver Cliffs as your backdrop.

Region
The Isle of Wight, with its beaches, unspoiled scenery, rich heritage and over 500 miles of award-winning public footpaths is a walker’s paradise, or if sailing is your thing, the renowned annual Cowes Week is not to be missed.

Have just come back from a three night stay at Crab Cottage and it was wonderful. From the comfy beds to the fridge with its own ice-maker, nothing had been spared. There is even a microwave now. The place was spotless and decorated to a high standard. I spent the weekend there with two friends, and after stocking up with food it was the perfect place to relax and chill in. My only criticism is that it could do with a coffee table and maybe a TV that could receive Netflix, but they are minor quibbles. Karla and Justin, the owners deserve to do well, and the welcoming box of chocolates and orchid were just the icing on the cake. I can't wait to come back to Crab Cottage and will recommend it to everyone I know.

Stayed here with son and grandchildren. Fantastic cottage with all modern amenities. Range cooker and American style fridge freezer were well utilised. The utensils and crockery were all of a high standard and plentiful. Bedrooms were well appointed and roomy. Only slight criticism is that the mattresses were probably the worst we’ve slept on and that’s going some. Non supportive and would really benefit being changed. Apart from that pillows and towels were soft. Hot tub in garden was not used a great deal by us but a welcome addition. Just be aware shops are not really walking distance so best to bring essentials with you for a snack and cuppa on arrival. Parking is on the front of property and ample. Big plus is walking distance to beach. A lovely quiet area to relax Would recommend without hesitation

It was nice to be greeted by the owner who was a very friendly gentleman.. Also in the house were beautiful fresh roses and a large box of chocolates The house is very tastefully furnished and everything you need. Plenty of room for a family or in our case with 2 friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed the week and would definitely be returning and recommending to other family and friends. Thank you for a memorable week.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Crab Cottage, family of 6 including a four year old and a one year old. This is an excellently built, modern property but with a seaside cottage feel. Comfortable and immaculately decorated and furnished. The location is perfect for exploring what the IoW has to offer with a beach within a few hundred yards. We had to child proof a little, putting away some of the nice touches (Wii, lamps, ornaments etc). This is a wonderful property, kitted out with everything you might need for a week's stay (with the exception of a micowave). The hot tub is a bonus which was used most days. The added feature of this property is that if you are interested in self-build or renovation and interior design, this is an example of how to do it! Tasteful, sympathetic, comfortable. All the facilities and details of the accommodation are accurately listed on Trip Advisor so don't need review but what isn't listed is the excellent quality of everything provided. We all loved it!

Crab Cottage is a newly built house and everything is sparkling new and spotless.. Facilities are good and location great. The addition of the hot tub is a little extra luxury. We had a super week.

Lovely place with lots of extras such as coffee machine .. Only downside were the beds which were very uncomfortable and gave the adults back ache . Also would have been nice to have blinds on the patio doors as with no locks to the side gates anyone could have popped round and looked in. Also needed a microwave.
