Lovely house.. Well equipped.. Water takes absolutely ages to get hot for showers and nowhere near hot enough. Freezer perhaps a little too small for a family. Note- you have to pay extra to use washing machine or logs for fire apart from the 5 logs provided. TV remote not working properly.. But house very clean and linen fresh. Could do with a lick of paint in hallway and repairs in master bedroom. Cute little welcome basket. More warmer blankets on beds would be a boost in colder months.

Lovely location.. Very well equipped cottage. Family friendly and close to many local attractions although we tended to mostly relax at the cottage in the garden. Annie was very helpful too

This is an absolutely beautiful cottage set in rural surroundings.. If you are looking for somewhere to get away from it all then highly recommend this. Cottage is decorated beautifully with a mix of modern and old. Very cosy snug area , open plan kitchen great for reading , but then second sitting room with small tv which was great for our 16 year old. Cottage has fully stocked kitchen. Everything you need. Fantastic area to be based to enjoy the surrounding areas. Great if you like walking and wildlife. Can’t recommend enough. We felt as a family it was home from home.

This cottage is the best we have stayed in.. We loved the decor & furnishings & the great location. It was spotless, well equipped & very warm & comfortable. If you want a peaceful holiday with a great garden, pretty views & wildlife/walking on the door step this is the one to choose. We shall book again for next year. Thank-you very much.

A really lovely and well equiped cottage! Nice garden and surroundings. We (family of four frim The Netherlands) had a perfect holiday! One small footnote: we encountered a lot of cobweb and spiders in most of the rooms. Maybe an attention point for the cleaners?

A lovely cottage, thoughtfully decorated with a mix of old and new.. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Great location for exploring Wiltshire. Marlborough is a lively market town. Also close enough to visit Avebury, Stonehenge etc. Would love to come back in the summer to use the garden and enjoy the country walks.

We booked Chase cottage for Christmas and it was more than we could of asked for.. The cottage was beautiful and well equipped and very comfortable. I have booked through Sykes Cottage before and everytime we have been delighted with our accomadation and this one was just as delightful with a log burner that came in very useful when we woke up to 8inch of snow and no power but a very warm cottage. I would highly recommend Chase Cottage.

What an amazing farm house.. The surroundings of the beautifully laid out house are breath taking. A welcome basket on arrival so you can make a relaxing cup of tea and unwind, fantasic. We would recommend the farm house to anyone, friendly neighbours and great views who could ask for more.

Chasewoods Farm Cottage was absolutely beautiful - I could have moved in! ! It has been really thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and planned. We spent a family girls weekend away there so the accommodation suited us well. Loved the family room with the separate snug tv lounge. The views are stunning and it was very very peaceful (even in spite of the fact we were there for one of the 2 annual days permitted shooting nearby!!). Good walks from the door, Marlborough within easy reach and plenty of parking too. Highly recommended.

A wonderful location and the cottage is good . Bedrooms sublimely comfortable but all bathrooms downstairs and despite lovely kitchen / diner the TV lounge struggles to accommodate 3 people never mind 4 adults and 2 children. No instructions on how anything works and hot water takes ages to come through.

Ok, so I was looking for a cottage that ticked quite a few boxes. It needed to have all the following: * An open fire * Quiet Location * wifi * pet friendly without those pet smells * clean * Not too far from my home Chasewood Farm Cottage ticked all of these boxes and more. I booked the cottage as a surprise for my husbands birthday. He is absolutely obsessed with open fires so this was perfect! I knew the area so it was easy to find but the instructions were very good. It is in an extremely quiet area and the wildlife sounds were all you could hear. When we arrived it was very dark but we had no trouble getting in the property with the instructions that I was given. When we went into the lounge it was spot on and so cosy. During our stay we did not need to use the second lounge with TV as we just sat watching the fire! The three bedrooms are all a good size and the views are spectacular! The bedrooms are also nice and warm and bedding is spotless. There are two showers and the hot water was always readily available. We took our two teenagers and although the wifi was quite slow, they never complained and were happy to just sit and chat in front of the fire! (they are normally glued to Xbox!!). I chose this particular cottage because it was close to my home and as it was my husbands birthday we wanted to be near the Link Centre in Swindon to watch the wildcats! BUT regardless, this cottage was perfect and we are already looking to return. We had the added bonus of seeing a female woodpecker, pheasants, Red Kites and heard frogs!! There was only one downside to our stay and that is, it cost me a fortune in logs!! I think I took several bags with me and also bought some from the cottage owner! But this was the reason for my booking and husband had a fab birthday albeit he has now come home sulking! Thank you

The only thing missing from the kitchen was a microwave which we found .... The only thing missing from the kitchen was a microwave which we found inconvenient as had to use oven etc for heating meals that should have been quick and easy for when you are on holiday
