Chalet Chilchboden

It was great being close to the Grindelwald terminal. The house was warm, the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pots, and the hot water worked well. While there was no Wi-Fi, the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. The only thing I wish they'd changed was the mattress. It must have been used by too many people, as the lower back area was too low, and my back hurt. I think I'd stay here again.

The apartment is clean and has a great location. The kitchen is fully equipped. The mattresses and pillows are old and uncomfortable. The bathroom is old, but clean and everything works.

We had a very pleasant stay, the apartment is ideally located for going to the Terminal (= ski lifts) on foot and returning on skis. The duvets may be a little short (feet sticking out). The owner welcomed us, made sure everything was going well, showed us around, she speaks French.

We booked at very short notice and were glad that we got reasonably affordable accommodation 2 weeks before New Year's Eve. The kitchen and the bathroom are small but practical and clean. In the kitchen there are no spices (especially salt), which the landlord should provide. The bedroom is ok in terms of space for traveling with 2 suitcases. The beds are a bit short and people taller than 170 cm have their feet sticking out from under the covers. So put on socks
