Chalet Abendrot apARTments Apartment 27 Grindelwald, Bern

The apartment definitely exceeded our expectations. It's very spacious, well equipped, warm and clean. The location is great, next to the Firstbahn gondola cable car, with an Indian restaurant and good Pizza take away next door. The apartment was ready a few hours before the official checkin time, and a very kind and welcoming lady at the reception let us in, sharing all the necessary details. It was also reasonable cheaper comparing to other similar options, which made it a great deal.

The apartment was clean, had a great terrace and the service from reception was excellent. We had a lovely, comfortable holiday.

We can recommend the Chalet Abendrot at any time. We're coming for the third time in a row and plan to do it again next year.

It was all right. From the description of the location to the smooth, unbureaucratic reception to the equipment and cleanliness of the apartment. Absolutely central and yet quiet location. 7 days no car needed.

Nice apartment, with the necessary, but not more especially in the kitchen. The second floor with balcony is actually a ground floor with a shared terrace. The view is limited especially from the living room, because a construction obstructs the view (and prevents the light from entering). Quiet and in good condition.

The apartment is functional, large and highly recommended for those with children (grandchildren). The kitchen is furnished with everything you need on vacation. Bathroom and separate toilet beautiful and practical. Beds and furniture are a bit old. But we slept great. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was sparkling clean.

The apartment was nice and the infrastructure was there and worked. Location extremely good. The kitchen equipment is certainly not exaggeratedly good, but it works.

Neat complete apartments, good mattresses on the beds, pleasant atmosphere in the house, nice landlord, nice building (no long boring corridors or uniform sausage), nice playroom for the 4.5-year-old (just search, there was no sign on the door), nice that you can park under cover (book in advance!). And you don't have that often: you can take your dog with you. So you also encountered the necessary in the corridors. We liked that. We were nine people, and had a 4-room and a 3-room apartment. The building contains many apartments of different sizes, so that you have tailor-made solutions for families and groups of friends. In response to the question about mobility: I did not pay attention to accessibility. You may then be able to access the elevator via the garage. There is one elevator in the building, not a flashy one. So at busy hours, some patience (and a generous time planning) is required.
