Ideal cottage for a family, with a small play area and a short walk into Whitby itself, over the viaduct. The cottage is clean and tidy, warm and very welcoming. It has all facilities that you need and has a small garden and outside eating area that attracts the wildlife which is nice to watch. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. There is plenty to do nearby and we didn't really use the car much during the week which was good. The pool wasn't ideal for our 3year old as it is deep throughout and the showers in the changing room are awful but you can have a shower back at the cottage. Overall it was a lovely holiday cottage

We have just returned from a week in Cha Cha's cottage which, on turning the key found to be clean and comfortable. It was a little smaller than I expected and I found the kingsize bed rather hard and ended up in the single bed, leaving my husband to spread out in a bed which he found to be comfortable. We joke that I am the princess of the pea story! It's well placed with a large supermarket not far away and Botham Bakery just a little further up the road (saving on finding a parking space in town), where I bought my chocolate japs, which are as delicious as I remembered. By mid week we had got used to some of the quirks of the property and had a lovely week. Ryedale Folk Museum is a gem and the cake at the Forge in the village is to die for. We also enjoyed Runswick Bay, Goathland, Eden Camp and Whitby itself with Fish and Chips at the Fisherman's Wife. Lovely view and fish with no batter as I like it.

Cha Cha's cottage was beautifully decorated and equipped to a very high standard.. The owners were easy to contact for arrival details. Site management was excellent and facilities good. The whole site is well designed and makes a beautiful holiday centre. The only (very) minor criticism would be that it would be lovely if the pool could open earlier in the day. We will definitely rebook this cottage.

Really lovely cottage.. It was well equipped , very clean and bright...very nicely decorated and suited the three of us very well.Great to have the swimming pool on the site. The position of the cottage was great as there was parking, we could walk into Whitby along the Cinder Path...which took about half an hour and was easy to get to other coastal towns from there. We loved the cottage and Whitby!

Absolutely loved this cottage.. It was so warm and cosy. Each night, we all snuggled up on the comfy sofas and watched films. They owners have thought of everything A real yorkshire jewel. The pool was an excellent addition to the holiday and kept my two (and myself) occupied for hours.

We spent a lovely week in this cottage, which is ideal for a family holiday.. The swimming pool was a big hit with our grandchildren. The cottage is set in peaceful surroundings (within sight and sound of the steam trains, however) but close to Whitby and Ruswarp. Sainsbury supermarket 1 mile down the road. The cottage was ideal and we would certainly book again.

Cha cha Cottage is a lovely property to spend a holiday.. On arrival we were welcomed with wine & chocolates and a beautifully laid table. The property was immaculately clean and the owners had obviously put a lot of thought into how it had been decorated. Cha Cha Cottage is situated in a lovely peaceful area with picturesque views. We would definitely stay there again.

We will definitely be returning to Cha Cha's cottage.. This lovely cottage just outside Whitby is a real "home from home ". It is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. It came fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and a real bonus is being able to park your car right outside the door in your own dedicated parking space. This cottage on a small complex only a mile from Whitby is ideally situated for visiting the surrounding coastal resorts and North York Moors. Although we didn't use it, there is a swimming pool and children's play area on the site. A short walk across the viaduct or down to the river allows excellent views of the steam trains going past. This cottage far exceeded our expectations and we will most definitely be returning.
