Just got back from our stay at Buck Place with our 3 year old grandaughter. The cottage was lovely, beds comfy and low to allow her to sleep safely.Safety gates to top and bottom of stairs which added security for her. Lovely site with a warm indoor pool where she could stand up and walk around safely Short walk to the beach, shop and pub on site and really friendly people and environment. We will return again when we can and highly recommend

Just got back from Buck Place, Filey. The property itself, is in a holiday village of properties called 'The Bay'. The bay has a genuinly lovely feel to it , with landscaped grounds; and has onsite ammenities - (leisure centre/sauna/swimming pool/Gym), and also has a pub and shop. The "village" is immaculately clean and tidy, and also is in close proximity (10 mins) walk to a lovely huge beach. The property itself is really nice, with a lovely decor; and has a nice homely feel to it. It is clean and tidy, and has everything you could need for a lovely stay. After a long drive, we were pleasantly surprised at just how nice it was. I would wholeheartedly recommend Buck place without hesitation if you want a "base" for your Yorhshire holiday.

Emjoyed our stay having a relaxing time with friends. The cottage is beautifully clean and in a lovely position on the site. We had everything we needed except perhaps a few more mugs - they always seemed to be in the dishwasher when we wanted another cuppa ! The second bedroom with the twin beds is beautifully decorated and themed but the window did not open so we were very hot during the night - perhaps its more suitable for two children than two adults. However we made friends with next door and went to see the Grimethorpe Colliery Band at Briidligton Spa : The Spirit of Yorkshire Whiskey Distillery and the flee pit cinema at The Forum in Bridlington which we wouldn't recommend. Thankyou for your helpful information and the beautiful tray of goodies on arrival. We would definitly come again with our grandchildren.

High standard accommodation with everything you need in place and more. Spotlessly clean and quality furnishings. Well located to everything, the beach and Filey, will hopefully return again and would definitely recommend it.

We had an amazing weekend. The cottage is beautiful and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable - its probably the best nights sleep I've had away from home. The bay itself is really nice and quiet and the little cafe does lovely food. It was a great base to visit family in the area and our kids loved every minute.

Me, my boyfriend and our dog Max had an incredible weekend away at this lovely little cottage. The place was clean, homely and inviting. It felt like the owners really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, and the place seemed very accommodating for dogs. Just a short walk to a fantastic beach from which you can walk into Filey. I would recommend anyone to give Buck Place a visit as they won’t be disappointed! We will definitely be rebooking ASAP :)

Very impressed with the high standard of the cottage, fully equipped, comfortable and clean. Well maintained community areas and good facilities. Looking forward to going back when things open up and making more use of the cafe and bar! Good to see a pharmacy on site. So much to do on this stretch of coastline - Filey is lovely and only a short drive to Scarborough or Bridlington. Had a lovely day at Flamborough with its spectacular views and enjoyed visiting Robin Hoods Bay. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.

What a wonderful few days we’ve had at Buck Place Cottage on The Bay. The Bay has been recommended to us on numerous occasions but this was our first chance to visit and we’re glad we did. With two young children (7&4) what more could you want than the beach on your doorstep, playground, swimming pool, pub/restaurant and cafe onsite. Top marks for chemist on the complex, too! The cottage had everything we needed and was super clean, spacious and had a very calming feel. Lovely surprise on arrival with a tray full of goodies! The master bedroom in particular was much more luxurious than expected! It was away from the main road, too, so no cars driving past and the children could play safely outside. Not quite warm enough for us to BBQ, but lovely to have the option with table and chairs outside the patio doors. Within easy reach of lots of lovely things to do and see - we visited Whitby and saw seals at Flamborough Head. Walked on the beach to Filey and a 20 minute bus journey brought us right back to The Bay. We will definitely be back for a break next year. Thank you

Thought the village was well cared for, handy pub and cafe and easy access to a lovely beach. Plenty of activities on site but we didn’t take advantage of them at this time. Walked to Filey on the beach and enjoyed very nice coffee and cake looking out over beautiful Filey bay. Visited Bempton cliffs nature reserve which I highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.
