Briws is a delightful, quality barn conversion just two miles from the hamlet of Llangwm, near Bala and Betws-y-Coed, and can sleep four people. The cottage has a ground floor twin bedroom, a king-size double bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room and shared external utility. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, a lawn and enclosed patio, a hot tub, furniture, a barbecue and a shared picnic bench area by the stream. Briws is a delightful base for your holiday.

Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x ground floor twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with woodburner. External utility.

Situated between the lakeside town of Bala and the charming market town of Betws-y-Coed is the peaceful village of Llangwm.

Beautiful location, superb, well equipped cottage.. Our only disappointment was not being able to use the hot tub on our last full day. This was apparently due to Covid 19 so couldn’t be helped. We had a fabulous stay and would love to visit again.

This is a fabulous cottage, 4 cottages in all but all arranged to give privacy to each one.. Spacious, clean and well equipped. The hot tub is the piste de resistance! A fabulous week in great accommodation and beautiful surroundings,

The cottage was in great condition with all the facilities you could need.. It was lovely and secluded, so quiet at night. My only slight issue was the ceiling height in the bedroom and having to navigate a lot a stairs when dark and heading to the bathroom in the night. However, it was a beautiful cottage and we had a great stay. Would highly recommend the cottage. The hot tub was great, even in the cold weather. Then getting back indoors in front of the log fire was amazing.

My husband suffers from arthritis and found the settees and bed a bit low to get out of, but that's not the fault of the cottage, we found with 4 of us we could have done with an extra toilet, Otherwise it was excellent

This weekend was important to us to make happy memories for our deceased Mothers 90th birthday.. Well we were not disappointed. Amazing accommodation/facilities, underfloor heating a bonus, however, it was mild this weekend and not really required. Locally we visited Llangollun, Bala and in our return journey Trevor and Lludlow. Beautiful countryside and courteous, friendly locals. All in all fab.

Very comfortable cottage.. Having the log fire and the hot tub was fabulous. I really enjoyed the walk to the top of the hill but I wasn’t completely sure if I was meant to walk up there - information on where to walk from the cottage would be good. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was perfect.. The location was great. The view is stunning and is very relaxing especially in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly. Its close to Snowdonia, and we visited Fairy Glen which was beautiful. And Go Below adventures which was an amazing experience. The cottage is close to a few little towns that has everything you need however there isn't much in Ty Nant, but this is what we wanted Complete relaxation. The cottage was very clean. Very comfortable I would go back in a heartbeat.

The cottage was a little bit chilly as the weather, although beautifully sunny during the day, was very cold at night and due to the heating system, you were not able to change this.. It could also do with a second TV in the twin bedroom. Everything else was great. It was especially good that the hot tub was ready for your arrival as this isn't always the case with short rentals and supplying your first lot of wood for the wood burner was great too.

This is such a beautiful cottage in the most amazing location would recommend highly to anyone to come visit this place.. Views are out of this world. Met owner who is lovely very family oriented business. Couldn’t fault anything. Visited Betws-y-coed Llanrwst Llandudno zip world great orne list of things to do is endless. Diamond star in my book.

Lovely cottage beautiful setting with hot tub a great bonus.. The walk up the mountain opposite have great views and worth the effort. Baka 14 minutes drive and Conwy around 40 minutes and well worth the drive with castle and smallest house in Britain to expensive. Lovely boat trip too. Great experience and would definitely go back Thank you x

Every year I book a cottage in Wales and I have to say this was the most easiest and beautiful of them all.. Great location with amazing views, it was the week before Christmas so the weather wasnt great but the with being at this lovely cottage it didnt matter. The hot tub was a great hit and spent a lit of time in there along with the burning of the light fire. Owners were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying again. x

Everything was fantastic.. Really homely, clean and equipped. Also, the hot tub was super and there was a lot of space on the cottage and garden. Beds were very comfy, under floor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch. Altogether, it was a very nice stay.

The cottage is bigger then I thought which was great as very spacious.. Views from the garden are stunning. Cottage has everything you could need for a break away including the plastic glasses for use in the hot tub. The owner is very attentive and will try her best to help you if you have any queries or concerns. Overall it was a lovely stay and we would defintly recommend it.

Great base for exploring the area, especially by bike with our two children aged 11 and 13 - there is a bike shed for storing bikes.. Hot Tub the perfect way to recover from a day out! The host was very thoughtful and responsive to our needs. The log fire was lovely and the underfloor heating was very toasty - lots of space for a family of four and WiFi was a great bonus!

Wonderful family Christmas week long break.. Cottage was spotless, warm, cosy and welcoming. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and had everything we needed. Loved spending our evenings in the hot tub and the snow made the setting even more magical. Location is a little remote but this was exactly what we wanted. Have already booked one of the other cottages for next year we loved it so much!

Stayed for 3 nights and wish I had booked for longer.. The pictures don't do this cottage justice. The underfloor heating is fabulous and the kitchen has everything you will need. The hot tub is perfect. Will definitely be coming back next year

The location was perfect the cottage was fantastic we had a relaxing holiday but if we wanted to be more active there was plenty of walks and activities near by.. The hot tub was excellent i have never known a week to go so fast we loved every minute and will hopefully be returning in the future

The cottage is amazing.. Wonderfully decorated and a real home from home. The hot tub was also a great addition even though it was january. I would recommend this cottage and will hopefully be back soon.

Stayed here for a week with friends. Booked because of the location, hot tub and photos of the cottage. It was lovely - the lady owner was present on our first day and was very chatty and friendly. The hot tub water had been replaced earlier on our arrival day which meant we couldn't use it that day, though that wasn't an issue. The cottage was lovely - bright, airy and plenty of space. Over the course of our stay there were issues with the heating which led to 3 days without - it couldn't be helped and the owners were good at keeping me informed regarding what was going on and offered for us to move to a different property - we didn't opt for this and were provided with heaters. The owners did all they could to address the issue and although it was inconvenient, it didn't spoil our week away. The hot tub was a great addition and we enjoyed spending time in this and gazing at the stars (one particular night was extremely clear). We spent days out in Llandudno, Conwy and Betws-y-Coed - all lovely days. Good walks to be had also. There are 3 cottages, all close to one another. Only the larger one was occupied for a few nights whilst we were present - there was no major noise disturbance. Lovely owners who were approachable and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and my friends have already booked to come back again with family.

Wow! Such an amazing property.. It met all our self catering needs, we didn't want for anything. We admired the stunning views from relaxing in the hot tub. The location was a little remote - nearest open place for food was a 25min drive away but not an issue to us. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and have already passed the details on to others. I would like to hope we'll return one day. Im already searching for future skyes cottages to rent!

This cottage was just amazing.. My wife and I with our two young children had the best holiday there. The hot-tub was truly the highlight for us, but it would be doing the accommodation a huge disservice if we said that was the only great thing about this cottage. The underfloor heating made walking bare-foot on the beautifully tiled floors a luxury. The complementary logs for the log-burner in the living room made for a lovely cozy evening in with the wife. The garden was a great size allowing the children to play out and run around in safety. We even flew the kite that was left for us in the garden shed. The owners were lovely. Oh, and did I mention how peaceful it was and how great the view was? The cottage was exactly one year old on the week of our visit, but it still felt brand new. Would we consider going back? Most definitely.

Briws is maintained to a high standard. The hot tub was very welcoming after 3hrs of walking down Snowdon!! Briws is a fantastic cottage and was a joy to return after days out. The sheep in the garden were very welcoming!!! All ingredients made for a thoroughly relaxing holiday. We would recommend Sykes cottages and Briws without a shadow of a doubt. Excellent.

The property was beautiful and decorated to an extremely high standard. The grounds of the property where beautiful and its located in a really pretty area. The area is very quiet and away from the main road and the gardens are perfect for young children, plenty of room for them to run around.
