Parking

Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go car park just further up on Blvd Jean Jaurès and also an underground car park at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. Neighbourhood

The apartment is situated in the Old Town (Vieux Nice). Old Nice is a colourful maze of narrow streets and alleyways lined with incredible restaurants, shops, cafes, galleries and brasseries. Close to the apartment is Place Garibaldi, a beautiful square filled with fountains and lined with cafes, home to the famous seafood restaurant Café de Turin. The celebrated flower market, the Cours Saleya, is a few minutes walk across the old town next to the promenade and beach and this is where most tourists bask in the sun whilst sipping expresso or enjoying the regions chilled Rose.

Public Transport

The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port. Bus stop 'Cathédrale - Vieille Ville' is your nearest bus stop. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 20 minute walk. How ever you can catch the tram from Place Garibaldi which a couple of minutes walk away and it takes 5 minutes to reach the train station. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information.
