Area
Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!

Pros: Well appointed flat, comfortable beds.. We spent a LOT of time sitting in the bay window watching the boats go by. Excellent location, we used Weymouth as a base to visit Lulworth Cove, Durdle Dor, Nothe Fort, Monkey World, Old Harry's Rock, Corfe Castle and spent our downtime in the many coffee shops around the harbour (The Library Café, just downstairs from the flat, is great, as is the Harbour Café on opposite side of harbour). Cons: As a family we like to relax and watch TV together, especially on cooler evening. The TV was not a great model. The remote did not 'talk' to the TV at all, it was not a battery problem. By Thursday the TV had scrambled the channels and all we could get was interference. This was swiftly resolved on Friday by the agent, but by the evening the remote had stopped again. I would expect, in this technical age, for there to be a smart TV, thus allowing for Netflix etc to be used. Insufficient hanging space for damp towels.

What a perfect place, beautiful view, right near to the town, the beach and the harbour.. Was a lot bigger then we expected as well and had everything we needed, even a travel cot for our 21 month old. The beds were really comfortable and the shower nice and powerful too. One of the blinds in the twin room was broken however as I bring a black out blind anyway it didn’t matter. Would definitely recommend and be going back

This apartment is all about a fabulous bay window .. It looks out on the Harbour side, the lifting bridge, the far headland, the sea, the breakwater, lots of boats ( of many sizes ), which come and go, and the rise and fall of the tides. The Harbour side restaurants and pubs, are largely on the opposite quay, and well illuminated at night, as is the lifting bridge & old town beyond. The sun rise , and sun setting, give added drama to this wonderful view. Super wet fish shop on the other quay. It is like a deluxe pavement cafe site! In your home. The apartment is just great in most respects. Parking is less than easy, but it is a free space! A little walk away, perhaps 800/900 yards, Unloading the car has to be rushed, as it is a no parking area, except for spaces that are always occupied! The double bedroom is dark, with little natural light, The douvets were super warm. The TV needs careful handling, or it refuses to work, ( we had to get the agents to help us ). Great place, we really enjoyed our time there.
