Tehidy is a lovely second floor apartment situated in the village of Charlestown just one and a half miles from St. Austell in Cornwall. The cottage can sleep four people in one king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower and one super king-size double (zip/link can be twin on request) together with family bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with balcony. Outside is off road parking for one car. Tehidy is a delightful apartment conveniently situated close to the harbour and the beach.

All second floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link can be a twin on request), 1 x king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with balcony.

A delightful and much sought-after coastal village of stone cottages and Regency houses, on the south coast near St. Austell. Famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path, it’s the perfect holiday destination

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful apartment, right up the road from the famous Charlestown harbour. Its an 8 minute walk! The apartment itself was brilliant with all the amenities you could ever need (coffee machine, xbox, etc.) and a very clean interior. The balcony is a great space for a coffee in the mornings. The owners were organized and communicative. They had a box full of fliers telling us what was nearby full of great options. There are multiple pubs within walking distance. The Eden Project is a 10 minute drive away. Megavissey is a beautiful port town with lovely shops. St. Mawes Castle is a 30 minute drive away with a ferry to take you across to Pendennis Castle. Cornish ice cream stands and pasties are in every town and delicious! Charlestown Harbour has a great bbq outdoor restaurant, a hidden rum bar, a shipwreck history museum with Kate Winslets necklace from the Titanic film and stunning views of the sea. I highly recommend staying here!

This was the worst holiday we have experienced and by far the filthiest property we have ever stayed in! From the moment we walked through the door and started to see the muck and dirt everywhere, we felt uncomfortable! We contacted the 'property manager' who just replied saying she could come out and clean it again, yet she had already had over 8 hours to do so! The bed pillows were absolutely disgusting, full of yellow and brown stains yet they had even had the cheek to put pillow protectors on them? The floors hadn't been washed at all, the kitchen blind looked as though it had never been wiped, the cooker was so disgusting that we were unable to cook anything all week! The toaster smelt and was absolutely full of crumbs, not sure when that was last emptied? The shower was also a death trap, no shower mat provided and no grip handle inside, our daughter has a very serious fall and a s a result, she was left in a lot of pain. The entire property required a full deep clean and in the current times of cleaners having extended hours to do this with covid rules being in place, we were disgusted that we were expected to stay in it! We left a day early, we never received a refund for the day either!! The holiday Company were no help what so ever, they never phoned back when they said they would, never responded to emails, just excuse after excuse when we phoned them! We will NEVER book with this Sykes or it's umbrella companies again! It was quite frankly appalling, the service and aftercare is none existent! Nobody has even apologised over any of it either, the staff we did get through to on the phone were rude and obnoxious too, they had no intention of trying to help or sort the problems out!

The decor of the flat was excellent and stylish adding to the holiday feel.. good position in the area to harbour and to amenities. a lovely week in spite of the weather.

Great location - we found lots to do in the area - even with a couple of drizzly days.. apartment was comfortable & well equipped. Lovely to be able to walk to Charlestown harbour for dinner in the evening - Wreckers is FAB

Facilities were fantastic, apartment really clean.. Had a 2 week stay and requested a bedding change, no problem to the caretaker, who answered our questions promptly. Would highly recommend this property, especially liked by our teenage son, lovely to have the use of the xbox. Lovely quiet location, even with the main train line behind the property.

We had a wonderful stay at Tehidy.. The apartment was spotless, well equipped modern and spacious. Everything was as it was described and the photos accurately showed the apartment. It was just a short walk into Charlestown and all other local shops and amenities were nearby. Overall an excellent place to stay!

Pros - Good sized, well equipped apartment.. Good base to explore this area of Cornwall. Cons - Busy railway line runs to the rear of the property. Glimpses of the sea from front bedroom window, so not a sea view?

A really nice tidy modern property with good facilities.. Only points to mention would be the bathrooms could do with a shelf for toiletries & it would have been nice to have some recycling facilities. The bedding in the bedroom with the ensuite was a little ill fitting & could do with some improvement. These points are minor observations and we had a lovely stay at the property which we found to be in an excellent location.

Everything you could need in this well appointed apartment. Comfy beds, 2 showers and a balcony off the lounge. Even managed to sit out on bonfire night to watch the local fire works. Great location to access anywhere in Cornwall. Good single car parking too. Only a few minutes walk to the harbour and some nice pubs, can’t wait to stay there again

This apartment is first class with regards to quality, cleanliness and location.. its also within easy walking distance of the sea front with many outlets for food and drink. Accessibility to many popular areas of Cornwall are within an easy driving distance, but the local bus service is within reach of the apartment if you prefer a different view of Cornwall. When it comes to supplies you need for your duration of the holiday two well known supermarkets are within a five minutes drive away for all your needs. If you are seeking a holiday where privacy and quietness is needed then this apartment should tick all the right boxes too. The apartment is immaculately looked after by the owners and all the things you expect to find inside for your duration are at your disposal. This holiday apartment has served us well on two occasions and it has exceeded all our expectations.

Wonderful quality apartment.. Very spacious, high quality and very well equipped (even hand blender and Tassimo machine!). Only downside is that it is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so this needs to be mentioned in the property details.

This is a fantastic apartment. Very spacious, clean and one of the best equipped holiday lets we have ever stayed in. The only downside is the fact that this on the third floor with no lift so a struggle to get suitcases and shopping to the apartment.

Everything about this accomadation was perfect - only small issue flat number 4 constantly left a muddy trail from the entrance door and mud and dirt left for days - difficult to avoid..

We loved everything but the beds.. They were just too soft, I would have liked a booklet with a bit more information about how things worked, like the Xbox for Netflix etc as we aren't gamers and it took us a long time to figure out how it worked.

The flat was excellent, it was clean, had a sea view, had all the comforts you require and was well located to be able to walk in to Charlestown.. You need to be able bodied as the flat is at the top of 3 flights of stairs. Anyone who cannot get upstairs would struggle with their luggage. Thankfully we didn't have a problem. It is a great flat in a great place
