Accommodation features

Bedrooms

This hillside apartment has two separate bedrooms, one a master suite that backs onto a walled terrace area and another slightly more unusually shaped with two single beds (one of which converts to double)set into an alcove area. The authentic features of rough, stony columns and white washed ceiling beams are complimented by modern artistic touches, a ceiling fan and a radiator . The second bedroom has a wall mounted fan and a radiator it also has a small open terrace area, perfect for relaxing with a glass of local rosé after a day on the nearby beaches of the Baie des Angesthis.

Bathrooms

The crisp, clean lines of this newly refurbished bathroom make for a modern bathroom space. There is a large shower area and a separate toilet leading off the main bathroom. The slate tiles of the walls and floors are brightly lit up by minimalist lighting. There's no window in the principal space but a small window in the toilet room looks out onto the green foliage.

Living Area

The living room, dining area and kitchen are all attached in one long room. A timeless Bordeaux leather sofa and white leather armchair occupy one end of the contemporary open plan space as well as a number of Picasso prints, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi box and in built music system. The connecting mezzanine is lined with bookshelves and there is ample space for storage and a safe and there is air conditioning in the main living area.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fresh and cheerful with all the mod cons you'd need for a relaxing stay at Magnolia. Start your day with a coffee or quintessential espresso straight from the easy to use Nespresso machine and French press. Wooden touches contrasted against the stylish kitchen fittings create a familiar cooking space. From a fridge freezer and induction hob, to a blender and multitude of culinary accessories, Mimosa has everything you'd need to cook up a storm.

Dining Area

A small breakfast bar is attached to the main cooking space but there is also an extendable table under an art-deco ceiling lamp.

Outside Space

Two private terrace spaces are available for your use at Magnolia. Leading off from the master bedroom is a square decking area with pastel hued walls juxtaposed against a lovely original stone wall. Again accompanying the second bedroom is a small bright space with two wrought iron chairs for unwinding in the evening sun.

Parking

Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go car park just further up on Blvd Jean Jaurès and also an underground car park at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. Neighbourhood

Located in the ancient château area, Magnolia is set in a residential street in the heart of the bustling Old Town. It's a short walk (300 steps) to the beach and only 200 steps to the famous Cours Saleya market with its fresh produce and local delicacies. Back in the honeycomb of narrow alleys and secret passageways that give Vieux Nice its quirky character, Baroque churches, wonderful frescos and an abundance of Niçoise and Italian restaurants line the bustling streets. It's easy to see why this antique quartier is a hit with tourists but the vieille ville also remains the heart of the local community so don't be surprised to see the tanned, weathered faces of Niçoise citizens gossiping over a coffee and croissant in one of the area's many bistros or brasseries. This is one part of the city where old Italian heritage sits harmoniously alongside the modern French culture

Public Transport

Use the vast public transport network of the city, which is mere minutes from the front door. A tramline connecting Nice's city centre is a few minutes away by foot, as it the regular bus grid. The number 100 can take you to the Principality of Monaco and also Menton while the 81 stops at the idyllic peninsular of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. The number 200 can take you all the way to Cannes for just one euro while 400 takes you up into the rolling hills of Vence and its medieval sister Saint Paul de Vence. At Magnolia, you are perfectly located for exploring all that the Côte d'Azur has to offer.

Early Check In...

We try to be as flexible as possible and if you arrive early and the property is free and prepared we can check you in early. If this is before 9.00am there is a 30 Euro surcharge. If your property is mid-preparation we will let you drop your luggage at your property and let you know as soon as it is ready.

Late Check In...

Please note for guest arrivals at all accommodation there is a 30 Euro charge for arrivals between 9pm and before 10.30pm and a 50 Euro charge for arrivals between 10.30pm and midnight. (Unfortunately we cannot waiver this fee for any type of delay including delayed flights and traffic issues) Please note we cannot accept arrivals after 12.00am/ midnight. In the case of delayed flights please inform us if you cannot arrive within the check-in time limit of 12.00 am/ midnight and we will arrange to meet you at a convenient time the next morning.

PLEASE NOTE: Your Nice Apartment can provide a letter for your insurance company stating you could not spend the first night in your booked accommodation due to an unacceptably delayed flight.

Notify us of your arrival time...

Please note: you must inform your Local Manager of you arrival time within 48 hours of arriving by inputting this in the Guest Lounge or by emailing. You must notify your Local Manager if you intend to change your arrival time. If you do not notify your Manager of a change of arrival time a 30 Euro surcharge will apply at your meet and greet.

Late Check Out...

Again, if we do not have an arrival that day or we do not need immediate access to prepare the accommodation for the next guest we allow you to check out at your leisure that day. If you do not check out at the specified time please understand there will be a £30 charge.

Please Note: If a guest does not pay the surcharge for a late or early arrivalat check in then this amount will be charged to your credit card plus a £15 administration fee.If you do not check out at the specified time then the surcharge will be automatically be charged to your credit card.

Arrivals after midnight...

Please note we cannot accept arrivals after 12.00am/ midnight. In the case of delayed flights please inform us if you cannot arrive within the check-in time limit of 12.00 am/ midnight and we will arrange to meet you at a convenient time the next morning.

If you are arriving to Nice airport then we advise you to book at the airport hotel ETAP. This is across the road from the airport and you should not need a taxi. (Please be aware taxis can be difficult to obtain at very late hours in the night) We recommend you goto the ETAP website and print their details in case of an emergency arising. Informing us of your arrival time...

You will receive an email with a link to our Guest Lounge where you can set your unique password. Click on the link or copy and paste the link into your browser. You can then advise us of your arrival time.

Getting the address and keys to your property...

You will also recieve an arrival email which will have the address of your chosen property and the Managers name and contact number who will meet you at check in. We ask you to complete and submit in plenty of time so we know what time you want to check in.

The Local Manager will meet you at the property and give you a warm and informative welcome to your new home and to the local area. Then we hand over the keys and let you enjoy your stay.
