I DONOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. It is a scam. We arrived to the house in the third week of december. The first was okay, the heaters weren’t working well, hot water wasn’t working but the site manager mr richard came over and solved the problem. The second day whole ceiling fell. We all were in the living room and we had to evacuate the house IMMEDIATELY. (Picture is attached below) it was around the new years time, there were no hotel available, sykes resorts DID NOT BOTHER to find us a place or replace our stay. THE OWNER HAS BEEN SO RUDE that she didnot even consider giving us a refund. We suddenly had to end our family holiday and return home since the hotel prices were insanely high around. THERE HAS BEEN NO COMPENSATION FROM SYKES OR THE OWNER. So once your money is gone, they will not respond you.

Stayed at Deer rise for two nights this weekend and can't fully express how lovely this place is without seeing it in person but its honestly so beautiful! Everything looks modern and fresh but with a classic lake district feel. The grounds and views amazing, great attention to detail payed on furnishings and decor, very well equipped kitchen and local places easily accessible. Perfect base for exploring around lake windermere. Beds comfortable and clearly high quality bedding. Well worth the price and would absolutely consider going back in the future. Couldn't fault a thing.
