Chapel Rock View is a great sized, quiet, modern apartment, with plenty of room for 4 adults, and is in THE perfect location. The extremely short walk to the 3 mile stretch of beach is ideal for surfers, walkers, and beach lovers alike, and the sunset views from the apartment and its patio are outstanding! Perranporth has plenty of good quality eateries to suit all tastes and budgets, and a good range of shops to cater for everyday needs while on holiday. James the owner is very friendly and helpful. Can honestly say this is the best place we have stayed in during our 30+years of holidaying in Cornwall

The apartment is in a superb location and the accommodation has been very thoughtfully put together. The owner James is extremely helpful and we had a really tremendous stay. Perranporth not only has a spectacular beach of its own, but is a really good place to base yourself for visiting the other incredible beaches along the coastline including Watergate Bay, the 5 Newquay beaches, Padstow and of course the world class Bedruthan Steps. We Will definitely visit again and hopefully stay at this apartment.

Spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at Chapel Rock View. The views of the Perranporth surf were stunning, with the beach a 10-second walk away. The owner was helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

Chapel Rock is a beautiful apartment in a stunning location. We had a lovely stay here for a week in September. The location is perfect for the beach and town of Perranporth. We love to surf so this was ideal, we didn't have to carry the boards miles. There is an outside shower for cleaning off your board, wetsuit etc; after being on the beach. There are also cages for each apartment to store boards and hang wetsuits. The apartments were built with surfing in mind! However, the owner does not allow his cage to be used for this as he stores paint and bits in it. This is a real shame and a waste of what would be a brilliant asset. The owner does also run the risk of renters taking surf boards & wet, sandy equipment into his spotless apartment. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, really good to find during Covid times. Parking is onsite, which is ideal and extremely handy in a busy seaside town. The apartment is very spacious and ideal for two couples. My only complaint with the rooms were that it would be nice to have a chest of drawers in each bedroom, for clothes and make up/hair drying. Also a mirror in the bedrooms would be good. We used the one in the hallway for hair drying etc; The beds and sofa were very comfortable and social-able for watching TV. The outside furniture could be better. It was very hard and not comfortable for lounging. The views from all the rooms and the patio are amazing, you could sit and watch for hours. Very easy to check the surf too. Chapel Rock is within walking distance of several bars and restaurants. The onsite Summerhouse bar/restaurant was closed, really disappointing, this would be fantastic. Hopefully this will be open next time! The beach and apartments are dog friendly, not sure it is allowed in this apartment. Overall we would certainly recommend this apartment and will return. James, the host, was very helpful and accommodating, he responded very quickly. I would not book through Sykes again as their customer service is very poor.

Fantastic Accommodation. Fantastic Location, Great host. Flat is well kitted out to a high standard with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location is great for the beach, good restaurants (try Hanley’s Tapas in town), costal walks, cycling and day trips to St Ives and Padstow. Sunsets over the Celtic sea from the patio are stunning at this time of year. Will definitely be back when next in Cornwall…

Just returned from a week at Chapel View and it was faultless. Apartment is in a fantastic location and is excellently equipped and to a very high standard. James was great at providing every bit of info to make your stay great and I’ll be recommending this apartment to everyone.

Stylish apartment overlooking the fabulous Perranporth beach with stunning views from both bedrooms and lounge. Less than 5 mins walk to the Beach or town where you can’t everything you need. The outdoor area is great and would be particularly useful in the warmer months to enjoy the odd glass of wine watching the sun go down. Very well equipped kitchen, clean and modern throughout, surprisingly quiet, no noise from neighbouring apartments. The free parking was also a bonus and easy to access. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, James the owner was very helpful and thought of everything you might need for a comfortable holiday, couldn’t ask for more. Looking forward to returning in April.

This is our second time staying at Chapel Rock, the Dunes, Perranporth and I have to say the apartment is absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect, situated overlooking the wonderful Perran Sands Beach, the beach is easily accessible via a private gate in the garden (you can also walk via the other side of the apartment complex if there is a high tide via a small bridge). The apartment is finished to a very very high standard and extremely comfortable with all creature comforts you could ask for. Each bedroom has a sea view and the views from the living room are wonderful. Being a ground floor flat you have a lovely decking area to enjoy the view. We love Perranporth, in our opionion the Dunes apartment complex is by far the best accommodation in Perranporth. The apartment is only a very short walk from the town with the Summerhouse restaurant and Alacatraz coffee shop being part of the Dunes complex. The Watering Hole bar (on the beach) is very very close to the apartment and is a fun place to have a drink whatever the weather. By far the best place to eat in Perranporth is The Willow Bistro which is extremely welcoming, a varied menu and as all the ingredients are sourced locally the meals are delicious (would recommend the crab salad, the Sunday lunch and the local beer and gin). Staying at Chapel Rock really is a 5 star experience and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks to Sykes and James the owner.

Travelled with elderly parents and the location was perfect. Mom managed the walk into Perranporth with her “walker” quite easily. The apartment was beautifully furnished with high end equipment and decor. The owner was very helpful and responsive to questions.

Apartment no15 is modern and stylish with great facilities - Tassimo and wine fridge very welcome! But this development is amazingly situated a very short walk down some steps directly onto a stunning beach. Our family enjoyed being a short walk to the town for bars, restaurants, cafes and gift shops as well as the direct access to the beach. We had great weather so enjoyed sunbathing, bodyboarding, people watching and bbqs on the beach a few evenings! The shower was amazing after bodyboarding and the lounge, beds all incredibly comfortable. Views were stunning - watching the tides, surfers and the beach come to life/ go to sleep made it a holiday to remember!

Wow-what can we say, we’ve just spent a week in THE best location in Cornwall - our teenager quoted it as better than Disneyworld! A beautifully furnished apartment, fully kitted out with everything you need making us feel at home. Literally a stones throw from the beach, we got to sit out on our deck and listen to Ziggy Marley in concert at the Watering Hole. We booked for next year the day we arrived - no better recommendation than that. Thoughtful and accommodating owner.

Arrived late so it was dark; opening curtains next morning totally blown away by the views, this apartment (no. 15) is superb, wonderfully equipped with everything you need, luxurious in fact. Location is great, seconds from the beach yet minutes away from every necessary amenities in the town, all walking distance away, shops, restaurants, take-aways etc. Lovely town and a great base for exploring this part of Cornwall which we did, ensure you get back to the apartment to watch the sunset! I could go on and on but just try it you won’t be disappointed, best self-catering holiday accommodation I’ve had and there’s been many, home and abroad, this is truly the best.

This property has the most wonderful location for watching the mighty Atlantic waves breaking onto the beach and watching people enjoying the golden sands.. It is so handy to the town and its shops, pubs and restaurants. The owners have done an excellent job of equipping it with everything you need and all of the highest quality. It felt like home from the moment we walked through the door and we loved every moment of all it had to offer us. I do hope future clients respect all that the owners have done here and take great care to always leave this gem of an apartment in the pristine state they find it. It has been our experience to find all of Sykes accommodations very good, but this the best by far. We will be back here again for sure.

Having just returned from a week at Chapel Rock View, I can honestly say we can't wait to return next year.. What an excellent apartment, so bright, clean, welcoming and what can I say about the view...it changes with every hour of every day and I could have just sat there and watched. My grandchildren loved the fact that you could just go out of the door, down a few steps and onto the beach. The beds were so comfortable and the bed linen was just like satin. I could go on about how wonderful the whole experience is, but I would suggest you try it for yourself. There is nothing negative about this apartment at all. James (the owner) was very helpful with the codes you needed and also sent a few videos to make sure you were doing the right thing which helped because it is a very secure site. Thank you once again for a brilliant holiday in a first class apartment.

We stayed for 4 nights over New Year 2018/19 in apartment Number 15.. It was absolutely beautiful. Everything about this apartment is first class. From the dining table and Sofas (and even both bedroom windows) you look out over a small lawn and enjoy uninterrupted views of Perrenporth Beach. All of the shops, bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The car park seemed very private hence secure. It was absolutely top quality 10/10. Great situation to enjoy beach and coastal path walks in either direction. Great place to unwind. Can recommend without hesitation.

Just Incredible This has to be one of the best locations in Cornwall.. We were excited when we booked but blown away when we got here. The photographs just don’t do this place justice. Far reaching 180 degree sea views from the main room and both bedrooms, where you wake up to the view of Chapel Rock. From the living room it’s like looking at a picture postcard that is ever changing. We enjoyed watching the Storm come in and watching the tide go in and out. The beach is about 20 meters away if that. The apartment is also close to the town with shops and pubs less than 3 minutes walk away, the wi-fi was faster than at my office and it is furnished to a very high spec. Can’t recommend it highly enough would definitely stay again.

We have just spent a wonderful week at this fabulous ground floor apartment. The location is perfect with glorious, uninterrupted, views of Perranporth Beach from the open plan living room and the two bedrooms. The interior is beautifully fitted with every convenience provided, including a microwave oven, full size oven and hob, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. There are plentiful glasses, crockery, cutlery and ovenware. Towels and bedding were of excellent quality and the beds were so comfortable. Proximity to the town and reserved parking, in addition to all that the apartment offers, ensures that this apartment ticks all of the boxes for a wonderful beach holiday.

The location was stunning and the apartment was superb.. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need for a self-catering holiday. It was on the beach, spacious and had beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable and there were powerful showers in the bathrooms. To complete we had reserved parking and it was close to shops and restaurants. All in all an excellent beachside rental that I would be very happy to recommend.
