Chapel Green Studio is a lovely ground floor studio apartment situated in the village of Polgooth just five miles from Mevagissey in Cornwall. The cottage can sleep two people in one double bed. Also in the studio is a kitchen with dining area and sitting area together with a family shower room. Outside is off road parking for one car and a private patio with furniture. Chapel Green Studio is ideal for a romantic break and for exploring this delightful part of the country.

With its history rooted firmly in tin mining, the village of Polgooth is now a quiet settlement on the outskirts of St Austell, frequented by visitors enjoying the area's outstanding countryside. Just 3 miles from the sea, the village is close to several lovely beaches, and the south-west coastal path also runs close by.

We had a Lovely welcome at the studio at Chapel Green and what a beautiful setting we found ourselves in.. Although our stay was short we loved being there, and it was a nice surprise to see a few things left for us in the fridge including a bottle of sparkling wine. Spotlessly clean and comfortable the views were just stunning. We very much hope to visit again.

The welcome was warm and the facilities exceeded our expectations.. Cleaning materials, tea towels, bin bags, clingfilm and toilet roll included (important as the corona virus shutdown broke the week we were there). Very kind of the owners to leave wine, chocolates, milk, orange juice and eggs for us as well - thank you :) The studio is isolated and peaceful, outside table and chairs, seating areas would be lovely to use in good weather. The swimming pool was housed in a large orangerie type building next to the studio, - warm water, shower and lots of places to lounge, very nice indeed. The local shop is 5 minutes walk from the property and the lovely pub is about 7 mins walk away.

Gorgeous studio.. Well equipped. Friendly hosts on site. Lots of goodies left for us in the studio which were very much appreciated. Swimming pool was lovely. Fantastic local pub. Would love to visit again!

Fabulous place,the studio was so modern had everything you need like home from home,the pool was a fabulous so clean,everyone was so friendly.. They treated you like family,and they went that extra mile by leaving eggs,milk,orange juice in fridge,bottle of wine and fresh fruit,I haven't stopped telling friends and family all about it, we are certainly going back thank yo so much.

We enjoyed our week at Chapel Green Studio very much.. Our generous hosts David and Julia kindly left us wine, chocolates, milk and eggs for our arrival which we really appreciated. The accommodation was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped everything we needed for our stay. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool which was lovely and warm. We would recommend this holiday let and hope to return in the future.

The studio was spotless when we arrived, with gift of wine and chocolates.. It had all the necessary facilities that we required for our stay, the kitchen was very well equipped, and as we ate in most of the time made cooking and preparing meals easy. David and Julia were great hosts and were always on hand, with help and advice for our outings. Would highly recommend Chapei Green Studio to everyone.

Had such a wonderful holiday here.. The apartment it self is lovely, very modern, very well equipped and comfortable!! The host are lovely! Very welcoming and extremely informative about the area and how to use the facilities. Really nice people, but kept out of your way during the stay so you still felt like you had your privacy. There were chocolates, wine, milk and eggs on arrival which was a lovely touch to come into. We had the fantastic surprise that their swimming pool had just opened when we arrived, which is amazing!! Your allowed to use this at night as well, which made it look really pretty with the blue lights. And a good temperature for swimming!! The village is great, has a local shop with all you need 5 mins walk down the road, and a lovely pub called the polgooth inn a couple mins walk on from the shop. Has a great vibe and lovely out door seating, which looks amazing at night with fairy lights and wooden booths. It gets busy at weekends so book a table to eat if you want to eat inside. Other wise they have blankets to take out side if you get cold. I thought it was soo well thought about. Lovely stay, lovely village, lovely people and a fantastic holiday! Thank you!!

I would just like to say perfect stay best place I have ever stayed.. Owners was very friendly always stopping for a chat or helping out with advice on where to go best route to go they couldn’t be any more helpful. The apartment was very clean with everything you need to cook etc also there was free wine and chocolates upon arrival was was a very nice touch. What surprised me further they provided milk tea bags and coffee to make drinks I’m sure what ever you needed they would provide for you. The surrounding area was kept very neat and tidy grass cut nice plenty flowers. They also provide a private patio where we had 2 sun loungers to relax in sun if you are a star gazer perfect at night to watch the stars. Also dog friendly we didn’t take our dogs but an other family did dog basket provided and looked very comfy for the dog. If you do stay in Cornwall I suggest this place to anyone to stay. Perfection is what I use to describe this place

Our accommodation was lovely, better still than expected.. Everything we needed for a good and relaxing break. Such peaceful surroundings. A walk away from a well stocked shop/ post office, with competitive prices and a pub with great beer and good menu. All these in beautiful country side. Most of all, the hosts are lovely people and we were welcomed with very welcome extra bits and pieces, above what was expected.

Great touring spot in excellent weather.. Studio was lovely. Set in beautiful surroundings. Sitting on Sun-terrace listening to nothing but birdsong. Extremely dog and people friendly hosts.
