Take a thrilling trek up to Castell Dinas Brân, high above the town, to take in the stunning vista, or explore the verdant valley by steam train or canal boat. A wide variety of pubs, restaurants, and unique stores are available in Llangollen. Whitewater rafting down the River Dee, followed by an adrenaline mountain bike ride through Llandegla, or, for a more leisurely experience, unwind with a tranquil afternoon at a nearby spa will keep you entertained! Chirk Castle and Erddig, both owned by the National Trust, are accessible by automobile, and a day-long driving route can take you to six of Wales' "Seven Wonders." Offa's Dyke Path also passes close by and offers lovely trekking along the crest of the Clwyd hills.
