There is a decent selection of stores where you can get all of your necessities, and Y Dolydd, an early 19th-century workhouse that was once featured on the BBC Restoration show. It is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with great architectural variety and outdoor activities, such as walking and cycling across the Berwyn Mountains.
