Two well behaved dogs welcome. Within 3.3 miles, you will find a shop, and within 3.2 miles, a pub. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. Cuckoo Hut is a welcoming stay for an escape to the country of Wales. Note: The garden is not enclosed, dogs must be supervised at all times. Note. There are steps down to the decking and up to the property, please take care. This pleasant village lies in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, only 4 miles from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales - the magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr (240 ft high waterfall). Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant was the location for the successful film, The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, and more recently the film Nativity 2 starring David Tennant. The village boasts two general stores, a newsagent, a Post Office, a butchers, three pubs, a café, a fish and chip shop, and an Indian takeaway. It is surrounded by stunning countryside, providing walking trails for all abilities including the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall. Discover Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, the National Trust Powis and Chirk Castles, medieval Shrewsbury and Chester and the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
