Cwmhir Court is peacefully tucked away on the fringes of Clyro, though within easy walking distance of Hay on Wye, a vibrant cultural market town famed for the annual book festival.

With a castle and small independent cinema, Hay has an excellent selection of quirky shops, cafes, bars and restaurants along with a weekly farmers market on a Thursdays showcasing the seasonal local produce, cheese and crafts. In warmer weather you can enjoy paddling or wild swimming at The Warren, the local beach on the banks of the river.
