Kittiwake is a lovely first floor apartment situated in the village of Solva, just three miles from St Davids in Pembrokeshire. The cottage can sleep four people in one double bedroom and a single with pull-out trundle bed, as well as a recently refurbished shower room with basin and WC. The apartment also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside is off road parking for one car plus a visitor space, bike storage and a shared lawned garden with seating. Kittiwake is in an ideal location for exploring this lovely part of the country.

Area
A superb village around the water inlet where boats can be launched and walks along the dramatic coast path will be a delight any time of the year. This pretty little village may be small but offers friendly pubs serving good food, a fish and chip shop, quirky gift shops, art galleries and a superb woollen mill shop where special gifts can be bought to remember your stay in Wales.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Beautiful accommodation, very well presented and super clean.. I have been holidaying in St.Davids for many years and only really been to Solva for launching kayaks but there is so much to do. At low tide we walked to the beach the other side of harbour and snorkelled in the bay, you may have to walk over the head land if the tide comes in too much but it’s not a long or hard walk. At high tide we kayaked in the harbour and done some crabbing. There is also a park a short walk from the accommodation if you have children with you.

Our third Christmas at this fantastic ‘cottage’.. (It’s actually a flat!). We keep coming back for one very good reason - it’s a great place! Cosy, comfortable, well equipped and in an excellent location. Who could ask for more? Highly recommended!

Great location at Solva.. Everything we needed in the cottage. Plenty of space to park the car off road. Nice to have TV with i-player and recording facility. Well placed for the coastal path and nice to swim in the outer harbour.

Excellent base for exploring the area around St.. David's and beyond with the coastal path being within easy walking distance of the flat. More suited to 2-3 adults or 2 adults with 1-2 children as kitchen area and 2nd bedroom are quite small

Solva is a fantastic location to stay with it pretty harbour great pubs restaurants and cafes.. Walks along the coastal path with the most spectacular views. The beaches are amazing and cater for every need from surfing to just a gentle walk we would definitely recommend this area of Wales

Kittiwake is a lovely apartment.. It is very clean and has everything you could want. It is very well placed for visiting lots of places and is close to several beautiful beaches and Solvas harbour is very peaceful and picturesque. We went the first week in July and it was nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Directions e.. GBay View Stores instead of post office and the entrance to property three houses down with large brick pillars, would be easier.

Everything was excellent about this property.. It was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay, and we would not hesitate to recommend Kittiwake. However, I do have a couple of comments. First, the description mentions a sea view. This is true, but it's a very distant and restricted sea view, so I would suggest you don't take it into account when deciding whether or not to book the property. My second comment is that the property sleeps four, but I think with four adults it would be a little cramped. For my wife and me, it was perfect, and I think it would be absolutely fine for two adults and two children. Four adults would however, have to be sure that they didn't mind sharing all the facilities - bathroom, toilet, kitchen and living/dining room. Please note that these are comments not criticisms! Kittiwake is a great property in a superb area. If you go there I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
