Bontnewydd is a village perched within Caernarfon in North Wales and sits close to the rivers Beuno and Gwyrfair. The village comes with a selection of shops, a fish and chip shop and a friendly pub serving food. Within close reach is the town of Caernarfon which is dominated by a stunning castle, a wealth of charming buildings and many amenities. The coast and the Snowdonia National Park are also within easy reach.

So pleased I booked this cute little cottage. It had everything we wanted plus more ! Comfy bed/s , fresh cotton bedding, relaxing lounge and an open plan kitchen with a wood burner to boot! To top it all a suprise yummy welcome pack with Welsh produce was a lovely thought. Super clean and in a fab location. The bypass has now opened so hardly any passing traffic for a good night's sleep.

Wow, what a fantastic gem we found in wales, gorgeous cottage with wood burner in a well equipped kitchen ! Cozy lounge, with large TV and Netflix !! Beds, so clean and comfy perfectly located to visit all of Anglesey/north wales ! Will deffo book again

We arrived at the cottage having stayed in another one in the area where we were not happy, this one was absolutely amazing, had everything we could ask for. Had a few issues in the cottage, which owner very quickly corrected. Was comfortable in every way, I could have even baked a cake here. Had great welcome packages left for us, which was most thoughtful....excellent location for North Wales, had wonderful weather, so all in all had a great stay and would go back again. Wifi and mobile phone signal excellent, a little bit noisy being on main road through village, but this did not bother us as we just blocked it out.

Ty Capel cottage was perfect! So cozy, clean and comfortable. The owner has thought of everything with lots of information and everything you need, a real home from home. It is well situated for touring all of North Wales, which is a beautiful part of the world. I would highly recommend and hope to go back soon myself.
