Mr Harding
July 2018
Alex was there to meet us when we arrived and also when we left, which made it personable.. Alex made it known we could contact him at anytime should we need to know or require anything...a perfect friendly host.
We did get a little lost trying to find the cottage, we followed the instructions Alex had recommend instead of following the sat nav route; this made it even more a special journey-it was like a treasure hunt trail :) The only problem was the last sign to follow for the directions had been removed, hence us getting lost; why we didn't think to ring Alex for help, who knows! :)
It is a remote property therefore the path to it is across a field and a stoney rocky path, which may not be suitable for all vehicles, but it is definitely all worth it, you become part of the country scenery and make friends with the sheep :)
The property is beautiful, very rustic. If anything there are a few things that require attention, such as a fault on a panel of the double glazing, which makes it look misty and the garden could be tidied, but nothing major at all. The bedding and towels were super white and clean, everything was very clean, all the pots and drinking glasses were sparkling. The bathrooms were equally as clean and pristine. A basket of goodies and a fridge with condiments was a very welcoming touch. We sat around the dining table for an evening meal with the patio doors open, it was bliss.
After 2 nights we were all beginning to wish the cottage belonged to us, it has a beautiful homely feeling and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this relaxing authentic cottage to anyone. Thank you Alex, from 7 beautiful, just 50year old girls X X X X X X X
