Mrs Peryer
May 2019
My daughter and I, plus my sister and her daughter, enjoyed a week in this beautifully restored old mill.. It’s well equipped and although we’d taken supplies with us, it was nice to find tea, coffee, etc. there. Also some milk and welsh cakes in the fridge for us. I had chosen this cottage especially
as it has a proper games room, with a pool table. It’s a big room with large television, a large selection of dvds for adults and children as well as board
games, Lego and musical instruments, great, we loved it.. This is on the third floor, 2 flights of stairs, a lovely big room with some of the original mill fittings. Although the cottage sleeps 6, one bedroom is small and has sort of bunk beds which are more suitable for one adult or 2 children. The games room has 2 very big settees though, if there was a problem with sleeping arrangements. As others have said, The Grouse Inn serves very good food and is only a 10-15 minute walk away, lovely views.
