Having stayed in holiday cottages throughout the UK we found this property to be the best yet. The attention to detail by the owners, made us feel it was a property we could have lived in 365 days a year. The furnishing and finishing off of the property is first class. The open fire, in the lounge, on a chilly evening soon warmed the property. A glass of wine in the warmth and romantic setting, witha four poster bed to retire to, what more could a couple wish for.
The attention to small details, for instance fresh baked cakes on arrival and a trip round the owners land to show off even better views, indicated that the owners wanted us to enjoy our stay.
The property is situated near the busy town of Betws-y-Coed, in the heart of Snowdonia, but felt a million miles from the busy lives we all lead. There were plenty of beautiful quiet walks to enjoy nearby with our English Setter dogs. The stone floor in the utility area and kitchen would have been great for drying wet dogs, but we enjoyed lovely sunny weather.
In writing a review we are asked to state what we liked least of all. This property makes it impossible to file that part of the review.
We would have no hesitation in using this property again and would recommend it to others, especially those with dogs.
