Cottage in West Wales in Cardigan, Ceredigion

Description
This property is located in the idyllic riverside village of St Dogmaels, on the Northern Pembrokeshire border to Ceredigion. The village has a shop, two pubs serving food, a cafe and a Tuesday market and the popular market town of Cardigan can be reached in just over 1 mile. Cardigan has become a 'foodie's' paradise with lots of independent restaurants and cafes plus there's a theatre/cinema, Cardigan Castle holds many events throughout the year. For a day at the beach, head to the nearby Poppit Sands (2 miles). The beach enjoys a large stretch of golden sand and marks the end of the 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. As you enter the property, you are welcomed into a warm and inviting hallway, with a boot/utility room for storage and a bedroom on either side of the house. There are two ground floor bedrooms, both super king size with en suite bathrooms and Smart TV's. The utility and boot room have been provided for convenience with a washing machine, tumble and an additional WC. Head upstairs to the first floor and you will find the lounge, purposefully placed to make the most of the fantastic water views. There are two comfortable leather sofas and an armchair centred around the cosy wood burner and Smart TV, providing the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring. Across the hallway you will find the spacious kitchen/diner with contemporary fittings and a dining table for eight overlooking the garden, creating the perfect space to socialise as a family. Adjacent to the kitchen diner is an additional 'snug'/games room with sofa seating, Smart TV and games console, plus a turntable with vinyl provided (although please feel free to bring your own favourites!). Completing the first floor is an additional WC. Head on up to the second floor and you will find the third and fourth bedrooms, both twin rooms with views out towards the estuary via skylight windows. Both bedrooms share a shower room. Externally, the cottage benefits from a fully enclosed rear garden with patio and lawn areas. There's an outdoor dining table for eight and a charcoal BBQ provided for long summer evenings dining al fresco. To the front there is a bench seating area enjoying views up the Teifi to Cardigan, a perfect spot for your morning coffee or a cool drink at the end of the day.
