Red Kite is a semi-detached cottage near the River Sien, Cwmbach. The cottage has a double and a family room with three singles, a bathroom and an additional cloakroom on the first floor. The kitchen is on the upper ground floor, with a sitting room and dining area on the lower ground floor. There is also a shared games room and shared laundry room. Outside is off road parking for 2 cars, a communal patio and access to the owners' woodland walk. Red Kite is a good base for heading into the Preselli Hills, down to the Pembroke Coast National Park, or just enjoying the riverside setting.

Kingfisher is a detached cottage in Cwmbach, in a tranquil riverside location. The property has a double, a twin and a single upstairs, along with a shower room. Downstairs is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. There is also a shared games room and shared laundry room. There is off road parking for two cars, a private riverside patio and a communal paved area plus the chance to enjoy the owners' woodland walk. With the countryside of Carmarthenshire to explore as well as the coast of South Wales, Kingfisher makes an ideal base.

Region
Blaenwaun is a small village in Carmarthenshire, with a pub and farm shop. Close to Blaenwaun are wonderful walks, the Preseli Hills, Pembroke Coast National Park, seaside town of Saundersfoot and much more, making this an ideal holiday base.

Shared access to owners’ extensive woodland garden with riverside walks. Three well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking or vaping. Shops, pubs and restaurants 7 miles. Note: Access to owner's dog wash area on request. Note: WiFi is not suitable for large downloads. Note: Due to the valley location, poor mobile signal. Note: Dogs are to be kept under control, due to being surrounded by working farmland.

Great accommodation, comfortable well equipped, so clean and well presented.. Lovely place great people so helpful and friendly. We went in Covid conditions and the thought a preparation to keep us all safe we very good. No worries or concerns. The cottage is in a lovely peaceful location but great options of beautiful countryside all around. Beaches available within 40 mins or so to the north or south. Could not recommend this enough. Great value great accommodation!

We would highly recommend Red Kite to family and friends.. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the games room is a bonus it has plenty of information to visit places etc. The woodland garden has a lovely walk and snowdrops and daffodils are ready for flowering. The area is amazing however there are lots of narrow country lanes we were fortunate as it was quiet. The cottage is well equipped and plenty of room for a family and dogs. We hope to be back when the days are longer, our dog loved the beaches it isn’t too far away. We would give Red Kite a 5 star.

Red Kite accommodation was lovely; really clean and warm.. The owners have thought of everything to ensure that you have a good holiday. The gardens, stream and woodland are very well kept and accessible. They have provided a games room, with a huge amount of local information booklets and maps, and an enormous selection of games and puzzles to keep young and old entertained in the event of rain. Even the weather was kind to us, with sunshine every day. It is very remote, and not in walking distance to any pubs/shops/civilisation, but that suited us. The owners were on site at all times, so if we had any queries, they would be able to help, but were not intrusive. In short, we had a lovely time, in a wonderful cottage in a lovely area, and would recommend it. Only drawback that I can see, is that if I had young children, I would be worried about the stream, but that didn't worry us oldies.

Can't recommend this fabulous cottage and warm hosts enough. Cottage is well equipped, warm and clean. Hosts are friendly and knowledgeable and very accommodating to peoples needs. Outside the cottage are private gardens that create their own woodland walk. It is located within easy reach of coastal towns, beaches and walks. There's only one negative. No mobile signal!!!! But Wifi provided free of charge!! Myself, my husband and 2 dogs are already looking forward to a revisit.

This is a beautiful spotless cottage and surroundings theres not many places that would welcome three German Sheppards the walks are amazing our dogs loved the walks I would sit in the living room with the window open just listening to the birds its peaceful and thats just what we wanted I have looked to book for the end of july and its booked up very sad for me but just goes to show how popular the place is the games room was perfect pool darts etc the owners are so welcoming cant wait to see you all again thank you very much Mark

What can I say? The cottage was beautiful and very well erupted,the garden and the woodland area is absolutely spectacular and the owners(Anita and Adrian) were the most warm and welcoming couple. It’s a little gem away from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day life. We will certainly do our best to go back but we hope to get there in late spring so we can fully experience the stunning garden!

Would totally recommend the Red Kite holiday cottage. A perfect get away for the family. The cottage is so well equipped, including a dishwasher, and so clean. What a wonderful suprise to receive homemade yummy biscuits, milk, tea, coffee ect on arrival (plus greeted with such friendly owners). Places to visit are: Tenby beach, Colby Woods National Trust and Heatherton Park. The crazy golf and 18 hole pitch and putt should not be missed at the park. Thank you again for another wonderful stay at your holiday cottage.

Spent a week in July at Red Kite what a wonderful place it is and in such a nice quiet location.. What can i say about the owners absolutely amazing they were. Nothing was ever too much of a problem for them they made you feel so welcome and having milk and tea bags on arrival such a nice touch. Would highly recommend staying here. And most places are not that far away that we drove too. We will be returning in the future

The cottage was wonderful,exceptionally clean and well equipped with a lot of little extras including tea coffee milk and homemade cookies on our arrival.. Very very thoughtful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the owners were very helpful. It's situated in a very quiet area with easy access to all the beautiful places around South Wales. We had a wonderful time.

Would like to say for my first visit to Wales this was an amazing holiday.. .Mr and Mrs Jennings welcomed us and where very welcoming.We entered the cottage Red Kite and straight away I was overwhelmed how beautiful it was and we had a card that's had a lovely message in and we had fresh cookies and also had tea coffee milk was provided..the cottage was lovely and clean and had absolutely everything from DVD to very comfy beds.We used the games room which is provided and had lots of board games darts snooker table it also had washing machine and tumble dryer with cloths horse and also soap powder was provided.As I said this cottage had everything and much more can not thank Mr and Mrs Jennings enough.

Myself,my wife,3 teens with 2 dogs Milo and Lily had a beautiful week at the Red Kite cottage in Cwmbach in July of 2017.On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were so welcoming and informative without being claustrophobic.We could not of had better hosts.The cottage was lovely with a more comfortable lounge than the pictures give it credit with a great TV ,DVD & freesat next to a beautiful kitchen and 2 bedrooms that were full of character.The beds were the comfiest I have ever slept on and the bathroom was so clean and well in keeping.We also appreciated the second toilet as with a large crowd there was never any inconvenience. There was a great games room attached where the pool table and dart board kept us interested on most nights as well as a cupboard full of board games and information at hand as to all the attractions in the surrounding areas.When we didn't take the kids to Oakwood park or visit some of the great west wales coastlines we would be walking our dogs up the woods shown in the pictures where my dogs met a lovely neighbour and her pug dog "Willy do".The woods and stream was my favourite. it was on the doorstep and so beautiful seeing my 2 dogs paddling in the private stream.Back in the cottage,the family never had a problem with the internet but the only snag was the mobile signal was not good in the house but that was something I was happy with as it gave me great peace.This was one of the best way holidays I could wish for.We really want to thank the owners as the cottage and the whole experience was professional and just what was needed at a price that was so much value for money.I will definitely be returning and if anyone is looking for a break away from life's hustles and bustles with maybe your dogs in a picturesque spot which is a great base for sight seeing west wales from then I implore you ....look no further.You will love it from start to finish. The owners have made our stay very memorable. The historic garden walk on the property was very intriguing. The games room with a pool table and darts was fun. We had lots of information about the surrounding attractions which were easy to visit on day trips. Beds so comfortable and lovely modern kitchen. WI Fi great books television and DVDs. We felt quite spoilt!
