Kingfisher Cottage is a lovely cottage set in Llanboidy, six miles from St Clears in a courtyard of stone holiday cottages and can sleep six people. This mostly ground floor property has a double bedroom, a lower ground floor twin bedroom, a room with adult bunks, a bathroom, a lower ground floor kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. Outside there is ample off road parking, a shelter for bikes, a private patio with picnic table plus shared use of individual, portable barbecues, outdoor heated pool, fishing lake, pond, lawned and woodland grounds. Kingfisher Cottage is a great holiday base. Note: Shared outdoor heated swimming pool available April-October

The small Welsh village of Llanboidy has a Post Office, two public houses and a local Spar shop.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent, please bring own pool towels. Travel cot and highchair on request. A fixed retractable baby gate fitted to the top of steps. Ample off road parking. Shelter for bikes. Private patio with picnic table plus shared use of individual, portable BBQs, telescopic enclosed heated pool, fishing lake, pond, lawned and woodland grounds. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile. Note: The kitchen and twin bedroom are down 4 steps. Note: Shared outdoor heated swimming pool with telescopic pool enclosure, available April- October only (from 2020) Note: Open lake in grounds about 3/4 mile from cottages reached via a woodland road with coarse fishing available all year round (please bring own equipment). Note: Large open raised lily pond in grounds. Note: Children to be supervised due to open pond, lake and swimming pool. Note: Check-in time 4pm - Check-out time 9:30am.

A well equipped cottage in lovely surroundings.. The owners were really considerate, driving down to the lake to see if my elderly mum would need a lift back after noticing her walking with her stick. We really enjoyed the use of the swimming pool for which we had allocated times due to covid and social distancing. My son in law is already considering booking again.

We absolutely loved our 4 night stay here and we were able to book for a reasonable price. We tried to book in again this year but it was a bit too pricey for 4 nights when we looked on holiday lettings but we will definitely return in the future. Property was perfect and very clean. Surroundings and views were amazing. Our 4 kids loved the walks in the forestry and we did some pumpkin carving in the garden too. It is definitely one of our favourite holodays.

Beautiful property , with everything you need, comfortable beds, well equipped, games cot and high chair were available for my little ones, location was perfect, plenty of activities and walks to keep the children entertained, would highly recommend this property..

What a find i wish we found this place years ago the cottage is Lush well equipped and comfortable a home from home Amazing views set in lovely grounds and walks if you want a base to explore West Wales then this is the place for you or even if you want to chill the owners live on site who will give you a great welcome then leave you to get on with your Holiday but letting you know they are there if you need anything myself and my partner and her niece and our 2 dogs went and had a great break we didnt want to come home and are looking at ournext visit i have nothing negative to say about our stay but if i can give advice take a small kitchen hamper with you i.e. salt pepper sauces cooking oil etc the local shop is a mile away then theres a Spar 5 miles one way and theres a CO OP 5 miles the other way where we got our supplies.

Cleanliness could've been better, dust was an issue for me due to allergies.. Also the shower doesn't work properly, a new head is needed. Cottage was nice, but a refresh of a few bits and pieces wouldn't hurt, new kitchen utensils are definitely needed. Overall had a really nice stay, pool was clean and grounds were so well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. No problems during the stay. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Short break wish we found this place years ago if u enjoy the countryside this is the holiday for you we will be coming back for sure the family enjoyed it also the dogs they sulked wen we got home .. Advise if your going to book ere is take a small pantry hamperike salt pepper sauces cooking oil etc . This short break is tge Best weve ever jad i would highly recommend it

This was the most well equipped self catering cottage I’ve ever visited.. It was in a great location with loads to do in the area. The grounds were beautiful and the cottage was comfortable and cosy. Perfect for a countryside getaway! Visited with a 3yr old and 4yr old boy.

We had a lovely time in this cottage booked via Sykes, literally last minute (!) after a very unfortunate cancellation our original holiday rental an hour before the planned arrival time.

Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful owners and Skyes agent who accommodated our last minute request as we were let down by another booking agency..

A nice friendly place with woodland walks and magnificent scenery. It was fairly central for our daily excursions, to Tenby, Folly Farm, Oakwood and other interesting places.
