Kingfisher is a detached cottage in Cwmbach, in a tranquil riverside location. The property has a double, a twin and a single upstairs, along with a shower room. Downstairs is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. There is also a shared games room and shared laundry room. There is off road parking for two cars, a private riverside patio and a communal raised patio area, plus the chance to enjoy the owners' woodland riverside walk. With the countryside of Carmarthenshire to explore as well as the coast of South Wales, Kingfisher makes an ideal base.

Area
Blaenwaun is a small village in Carmarthenshire, with a pub and farm shop. Close to Blaenwaun are wonderful walks, the Preseli Hills, Pembroke Coast National Park, seaside town of Saundersfoot and much more, making this an ideal holiday base.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Fuel, power, logs with wood burner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate at the top and bottom of the stairs. Allocated off road parking for 2 cars, parked one behind the other. Electric vehicle charging point (payment for use direct to owners on site). Small riverside seating area at the front of the property, with shared access to the owner's extensive woodland riverside walk. Three well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking or vaping. Shop, pub and restaurants 7 miles. Note: Access to owners' dog wash area on request. Note: WiFi not suitable for large downloads. Note: Due to valley location, poor mobile signal. Adrian and Anita are the best hosts. They are on hand if you need anything. The cottage is beautiful and immaculate. The grounds are phenomenal. Willow enjoyed her doggy walks and slashing around in the river which runs alongside the cottage. We loved it. Would recommend you try it out.

We had a fantastic holiday week at Kingfisher cottage in a beautiful rural location with amazing support from our hosts.. The cottage was beautifully prepared and furnished and spotlessly clean and tidy. Their private wood and walk is truly special and was a joy to visit daily with a bubbling stream passing by the cottage. And the cottage is well placed for visits to Saundersfoot and Tenby and all of Pembrokeshire for a longer day trip if you want. Thanks again for a wonderful stay in a truly special place.

We had a wonderful break.. Cottage was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. It is also so well set up for dogs, everything has been thought about. There is plenty to explore in the local area. The owners made us feel very welcome and were very helpful.

We were very lucky to chance upon a cancellation which enabled us to have 5 nights in this lovely cottage.. In this time of Covid, we hoped to escape to the country, enjoy a different 4 walls whilst staying safe ourselves and keeping others safe. The lengths the owners have gone to to ensure safety are second to none. The cottage was impeccably clean, everything superfluous removed, whilst still being offered as available as long as they had been quarantined (DVD's, maps of the area, brilliant walking guides etc) The kitchen was better equipped than my own, making self catering very easy. The beds were super comfy. Communication with the owners was excellent - on hand if we had enquiries - we didn't know the area at all and they were really helpful in pointing out places to visit - we didn't have enough time to visit them all, so we'll be back!

We had a really fantastic time in kingfisher cottage.. Adrian & Anita did everything to make sure we had everything that we needed and the cottage was fantastic. Extremely clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable for the 5 of us, plus our dog. The open plan living space & kitchen with the log burner was really lovely, and we all enjoyed the games room and comprehensive local information that they provided. All set in beautiful surroundings and we loved exploring the stunning Welsh countryside & coastline. Thank you a fabulous few days. The Perry Family

The cottage was spotless and very comfortable, however, we did not have control of the heating and although the owners lived on site, we did not want to keep asking them at varying times of day and evening to alter the heating for us.. We did, however, very much enjoy the endless supply of logs. The woodburner was very efficient and easy to use. We would suggest that it would be even better if there were a freezer; even if this was shared with the other cottage, in the laundry room. With the cottage being so far from main shops it would be extremely useful to put loaves of bread and joints of meat in, rather than having to shop more frequently.

This lovely holiday Cottage is a small piece of Heaven tucked away in tranquil woodland. The cottage far exceeded our expectations being very well equipped, spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable, with woodland walks if you don't feel like driving, and ideally situated to explore South / West Wales if you are in the mood for driving. Very highly recommended. Owners are really nice and have done an immense amount of research on the local area which is documented in neat folders for the benefit of visitors.

The rear gardens at Kingfisher are amazing, it's not a garden but your own private nature trail. The owners are so welcoming and made us feel at home.We had five in our party and two dogs and we had loads of room. We will be going again!!!! You need to try it for yourself
