Inside, it feels bright and open, with a large kitchen and living space that opens onto a private patio – perfect for long lunches in the sun. You'll also have use of the communal grilling area and heated pool, with dock rental available if you're arriving by water. As for the location, you're just a twenty-minute stroll from Fort Lauderdale Beach, and a short drive from restaurants, boutiques and galleries.

Home truths:
*Your host provides a starter supply of kitchen essentials and laundry pods, but you might want to bring your own to top this up. The nearest supermarket for stocking up is a seventeen-minute walk away.
*You'll have access to the on-site pool, grill and alfresco dining area here. They're shared with the retreat's other residents.
*On-site parking for up to four cars is available on the driveway.
*The owner's boat is parked at the dock, which they can access via side entrance. While guests are able to anchor their own boats at the dock, use of the the owner's boat is not permitted.
