Chalet Hori Apartment 2

We used this Chalet (3nights) as our base to explore Grindelwald and area. The bus stops right outside the chalet but if you miss the last bus from the main station, it is just a 25 min uphill walk back.The COOP market carries anything you might need. We took a bus to Grosse Scheidegg one day and walked back down along the trails. Very pretty. Another day went to Murren and excellent views of the Eiger and Jungfrau. This chalet is clean, comfortable and spacious for 4. Laundry room is a bonus.

- comfortable stay for 6 nights in Jun with family - check-in and other instructions were accurate - well functioning kitchen/ bath/ laundry - stellar view of the valley - grocery store at 5 min walk - missed A/C or fan due to a heatwave - need to co-ordinate bus schedules when coming back or climb a steep hill or take a taxi

Beautiful place, very well maintenence. Garage great. Furniture very good. View Excelent. Is the best place if you like hiking, you can start walking from there to the mountain. Around 1.5 km to downtown, but not much if you like walking and enjoy. Also can take the bus just infront of the Chalet. Buy cofee, shampoo, soap and bring your personal utilities, you won't find it in the chalet.
