The living areas in the detached, single-storey lodge consist of an open-plan living space with a kitchen hosting an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, a dining area with seating for six people and a sitting area with a Smart TV, selection of books and games. The bedrooms consist of a double with an en-suite shower room and two twins, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is a garden with lawned and decked areas, along with furniture, alongside off-road parking for two cars. Within 1.6 miles, you will find a shop, within 1.2, a pub. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, but smoking is not. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A travel cot and highchair are available. Area
Chirnside is situated on a bluff above the River Whiteadder, with breathtaking views of the Cheviot and Lammermuir Hills. A 16th century dovecot and a lovely parish church, thought to date back to the 12th century, are just two of the village's many notable landmarks. The Jim Clark Rally, the only 'closed roads' event on mainland Britain, is held in and around the Borders every summer as a tribute to the village's native son.
