Woodpecker Lodge consists of a open plan living, kitchen and dining area with an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, air fryer, a dining room with seating for six people, electrical fire, Smart TV and WiFi. Three bedrooms including one double en-suite and two twin rooms along with a shower room. Outside, there is enclosed decking with seating and odedicated parking for 2 cars. In less than one mile you will find a shop on-site, and within 4 miles a pub. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Woodpecker Lodge is a lovely retreat for a trip to Scotland. Note: There are small steps leading up to the entrance, pets not allowed. Please note: this property accepts Friday check-ins only. The lively coastal town of Dunbar, on the south east coast of Scotland, is ideally situated for touring and exploring the area. Boasting lovely sandy beaches, pubs, restaurants, museums and leisure facilities, there is something to satisfy all tastes. The area of East Lothian offers many attractions for visitors including the John Muir Country Park and Museum and the East Links Family Park in Dunbar, the Seabird Centre at North Berwick Harbour, Tantallon Castle, the Museum of Flight, where you can walk under the wings of Scotland's Concorde, and 19 golf courses, including The Open Championship course at Muirfield. Diving off St Abbs is world famous, and beaches at Cove and Coldingham offer unsurpassed beauty. Nearby Cockburnspath lies on the eastern extremity of the Southern Upland Way, a long distance footpath from the west to east coast of Scotland, and is ideally situated to offer great walking. A short drive or train journey north will take you to Edinburgh, while Berwick-upon-Tweed and Lindisfarne are a short drive south. A great location with plenty to see and do!
